2018 pivot shuttle..new battery

Hey folks, just exploring options for upgrading my pivot shuttle… was going to buy a new bike, but lead times and rising costs have me reconsidering… anyways a couple mods i want to make is increase the travel on my shuttle from 150 to 160(possibly go to a fox 38 but don’t think its a worthy investment… the biggest ponder i have is battery, my battery is around 85% now and definetly seeing the lost capacity on longer rides… i was looking at the e8016 as a replacement but can not find anyone that has one to try fit or cant get an answer if it fits…anyone out have any beta on the 8016 vs the 8010? I would sure like to go the 630w 8016…thanks

@R120 changed, but not in a shuttle, so no idea if it would squeeze inside the frame space.

l wouldn't think buying a new fork to increase travel by 10mm would make sufficient difference to be worthwhile?

Unless you wanted to upgrade or replace your old one anyway, in which case it makes more sense.

That was my plan, $100 cdn upgrade…would love a longer life battery but was just told the 8016 will not fit in the 8010 hole!

Smashpot the front end then youll be able to alter the travel and get a spare battery and refurbished the old one.
I have 2 batteries for my old vitus which is great for a long trip although I've never needed to swap.
My new vitus has the 630 battery and I don't fancy carrying a spare one of them.
Or buy a new bike
