Levo Gen 2 160mm Command Post Measurements and Potential Move to longer Travel Post

Hey Team, I'm considering opting for a longer travel dropper for my large 19 levo expert.

I have the 160mm post and it's raised another 30mm out of the seat post. I could comfortably raise another 10-20mm... so to me there is potential to get that seat a further 30mil out of the way.... and I do snag the crotch / bang the thighs on the seat on some of the steep tech trails I ride more than I should (although my technique and body position isn't blameless here either).

I've been eyeing up the One-Up dropper, either 180 or 210 travel (ideally the latter), or the Xfusion 200mm post, But I can't seem to find the internal measurement of the Command dropper to measure against these other posts and whether they will fit fully 'slammed' into the frame.... my google-skill seems to be lacking.

Does anyone have the insertion measurements of the command dropper or how much insertion length is available in a large 91 Carbon Levi?

Has anyone else gone up in travel on their Levo and can share any thoughts and experiences?

Generally the performance of the seat post is 'ok'. Not amazing, sometimes it slips and has some play..... but it's a dropper and performs a basic function..... I'm not that fussed about spending Fox/Rockshox money. The xfusion/oneup have the travel length for a reasonable budget.

I wouldn't go with X fusion. You can't do any minor servicing without risking the one year warranty, you have to send it off to the importer. One up is totally user serviceable. There is a sizing guide and app on the web site.

I have upgraded to 210mm OneUp dropper V2 about 2 weeks ago. I have Levo Comp 2020 in size Large, dropper is about 58mm out of the seat-tube but I think it can go in at least another 10mm (if not 20mm) if needed or you can shorten the drop in 10mm increments with attached pins. Overall I love this dropper for huge drop, but the feeling on the lever is not so good/smooth compared to previous Xfusion Manic dropper, it needs a harder lever push but this seems understandable because OneUp dropper actuator is much smaller so it doesn't have same levarage as actuator of Manic dropper ....

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know in the servicing front, I like to try and do as much home servicing on the bike and components as possible.

I currently have 30mm above the seat post with the Command Post and want to drop that completely.

Squamish Sucks - that's the info I am looking for.

Attached the wrong pic there. Here you can see 30mm above the seat post and a 30mm collar/seal on the command post. 60mm above the seat post total.

The one-up dropper looks like it has a far thinner collar/seal as well. Hopefully looking to gain 40-50mm of further saddle drop.

Would anyone have the internal measurement of the 160mm command dropper? I think the insert length of the 210mm one-up is 300mm

I ride a 2019 levo in L and use a 180mm one up dropper. With a 30,9mm dropper (and adapter) it's possible to use the dropper completely pushed in the seat tube.
but i think it's on the edge, ...had so be very carefully with the cable routing, and also putted some grease in the cable at the "shadow loop" to make it easy going.
so I think the 210mm dropper will not fit completely in the seat tube.

I popped out the existing command post today when back at home...... the measurement from the collar rim down to the end of the actuator is 260mm.... a fair way shorter than the Oneup V2 210mm which is 300mm internal drop.

I think that the 200mm OneUp Dropper may indeed not fit all the way in the large Levo. I'll have to reconsider or be really sure of the measurement.
