11speed vs 12speed

my eagle 12 speed is very sensitive to b screw tension, I bought the red plastic sram guide tool thing to help get it right

I bent my derailleur again, so i need to order a new one. cassette is worn as well. we ride a lot in the mud, and chain/cassettes wear out fast.
because of that i'm thinking of upgrade' from a 12 speed to 11 speed, to reduce wear.

My friend has a 11-speed cassette (11-50) and shifter which I can get, so all i need to buy is a derailleur.
What do you think, will it wear less with a 11speed?

Getting rid of the 10t is a good idea though.
