Featured S-Works Levo 2000 miles and counting...

So I have just passed the 2000 miles on my levo, and I thought I would post a not so little story of how I have got on with it since November 2017. Originally I was having the new Stumpjumper but having had a go on my sister-in-laws Pendleton e-bike I was intrigued as to what an E-mountain bike...

Turbo Levo: Base, Comp or Comp Carbon? Which one to buy between these 3?

Hi all, I'm about to take the plunge and buy my first e-bike. I have decided on the Specialized Turbo Levo, however I am torn between the following 3 options. Base Comp Comp Carbon Of course some will say buy the comp carbon if you can afford it, but i think that's a little to simplistic...

Featured Just found some great deals on 2018 Specialized Levo/Kenevo and others if anyone is about to pull the trigger on a new bike! £4675 for a Kenevo !

I was just in Freeborn Bikes in Horsham, and have figured out why no one seems to have any decent stock of Specialized - basically they ordered most of the UK stock! The have 2018 Levos and Kinevos in a lot of sizes with some serious discounts, also Cube and Da Vinci's. Well worth checking out...

    Battery Health

My levo was at 100% battery health last week I charged it today to ride and the health dropped to 94%. I store it with 70% storage charge always not sure what has happened it’s only had 8 charges so far. Anyone else having this issue? I’ve never depleted the battery below 20% so would have hoped...

Converting 29er and Butcher 2.6” tyres.

Hi having a bit of a posting frenzy at the moment hope this is of use. Love the Levo however really wanted to stay on a 29er, as a taller rider and having ridden them for a number of years it’s just my preference. I managed to get my Levo at a bargain price so not complaining. I stumbled across...

Protect those displays. Getto tech .

So it occurred to me that displays , computers and GPS units are very vulnerable to damage if you need to flip your bike over to do a repair So i made these out of a bit of 40mm dia plastic rod and some 22mm copper pipe clips . Bit crude and im sure an engineer would weep at it design but they...

    Drilling holes in my Levo!

Let me explain. The Problem, this is after a few rides, washing with Muc off and light pressure garden hose. This is as recommended by Specialized Rider care UK, I had email correspondence with them I can post the emails for those that wish to see. Suffice to say this is the procedure they use...

Anyway, I tend to make a few videos of my experiences and I thought I would share. I'm just doing this for a bit of...

Levo Gen 2 Specialised Turbo Levo Regular Maintenance

So after 600km on the Levo most of it being wet and muddy i’ve had to replace a chain, rear brake pads and have the motor out to clean as there was a loud creaking noise. I have also broken a rear spoke. Is it unusual to take the motor out so often? Should the chain be replaced sooner rather...

Help me decide on a Specialized Levo Expert?

Hey guys. I've had a Merida e160-900E on order for the past 3 months . . . and had put down a deposit on the bike. The bike has been constantly delayed, there are supply issues with the model and demand is really high. I spoke to the importers here in Australia yesterday, and they are also...

    SRAM Code brakes - Issues?

So the Kenevo that I’m using has SRAM Code brakes. Really spongy feel as well as the lever going right back to the bars. Took it to a local bike shop near where I’m staying who bled them but noticed that 2 of the rear pistons were jammed and also lots of air in the system. Also I’ve almost...
