I think its a known issue that the waterproofing on the Gen 1 Levo wasn’t really good enough for the UK weather. Much of this was fixed with motor tweaks or part upgrades.
For reference I have had two Levo SL’s, a Gen 1 and a Gen 2. I wash them with a hosepipe and ride them in all conditions, I...
I am struggling to get my Heartrate displayed on the Mastermind.
I have a Garmin Epix 2 which I have paired to the bike through the Specialized App(Mission Control Replacement). No HR is shown.
I have then tried to add the Garmin Epic 2 HR sensor via the Mastermind TCU but it won’t find it...
I was lucky enough to get one from the first drop in an S4. I was also told at the time that timelines were a little unclear for more to come in(didn’t think I’d manage to get one) but was also told Jan/Feb. They may have a better idea now as they should be on the boat already if so.
A few...
The Roval carbon wheels are very good. Been running them for 12 years now and not one issue but very mixed reviews on the alloy ones.
Currently have Traverse SL on the LSL which are decent and spin pretty well. I have newest Control SL on the Epic Evo, which are just insane. I’m 86kg. I’ve...
I’m sure they’ll warranty that. I guess you’ll always get the odd one go wrong., you’ve been the unlucky one. These Mahle motors are generally the most reliable.
Specialized Uk customer care is immense, hopefully the same wherever you are.
I’m loving this Gen 2 motor, a very good upgrade over...
The mark on up bikes is pretty high, . What the dealers make has been squeezed from what it used to be .You’d have to make a conversion kits pretty expensive to make it work. The volume of parts that the bike companies buy to make the bikes makes them cheap to what anyone else pays. Specialized...
I’m pretty sure that they’ll never make the motor available to Gen 1 owners of the Levo or Kenevo SL. It would be nice if they did but they’re in the business of selling MTB’s so a £1000 motor won’t make a lot of money.
It’s slightly different for the new KSL I guess as the bike is pretty much...
Probably the right decision unless you have the cash. I have turned my Levo SL Gen 2 down to around 30/75 and never use Turbo. I’ll only use it on occasional trips to the Lake District etc.
The frame remaining the same makes it easier to pass.
I’ve always found it best to buy an S-Works frameset and move your parts over, sell the old frame.
I guess it comes down to what bike/parts you have currently. Also get the RE if you need one. Comp parts are generally a bit weak and a pain to sell.
Each to their own I guess
6K RRP for the S-Works frameset.
Any discounts will depend on stock levels I guess. The SW Levo SL 2 framesets have been as rare as Rocking Horse sh*t.
