Updates:
1 -Boxxer Ultimate dual crown installed (machined to keep geo close to stock)
2 -Rear FOX X2 now kitted at 170mm.
3 -2.6 Conti Argotal tires (yes...the profile of this tire works even though Ibis says 2.5 max rear)
4 -New WTB HTZ I35 front wheel.
5 -Miranda 150mm cranks with Race Face...
1 - I put 150mm cranks on to eliminate it. No need to change the chain ring.
2 - The lights have zero draw unless they are on. The range on the OSO/Bosch is far better than the Spec/Brose.
I am 5'10" as well and have always ridden a large. With the adjustment to the stem and some Diety 50mm rise bars, I am set. The medium is so fun to charge hard on.....and the mixed wheel makes a big difference IMO. I also bumped the front travel to 180 and rear to 170.......great upgrade that...
Thought I would share as I picked my OSO up last week and have just shy of 100 miles on it. I am coming off of a very modified 2020 Levo that was slacked to 64.2 and had 160/180 travel, Saint brakes, and 220 rotors F&B. It is a very capable bike.

I am replacing my 2020 levo as well. I wanted a Bosch system, mullet set up, and longer travel so the Cannondale Moterra LT2 is what I ordered. Pretty decent spec for the price with Magura brakes as a bonus. Only mods I can see doing are swapping for 50mm Diety bars, longer One UP dropper...
Its a winning combination! Here is my 2020 Comp with cascade link and 2021 Fox Float X2 210x55. Handles big hits and is super planted. I will warn you...if you are a bigger rider, this shock may not be for you. I am 220 lbs and near max 300 PSI just to get a little over 30% sag. I called Fox...
Welcome Nick. I am just a few ridges North of you near Lucas Valley. I also ride a lot in your area, Lagunitas, Tamarancho, Big Rock Ridge, China Camp, etc.....tons of good stuff in our area. I am 5'10" with a 30" inseam and I ride a large (2020 Levo Comp). I have shortened the cockpit via stem...
Welcome.....where do you ride? I am in Marin County but my folks now live in Carmel and I am looking for some new (to me)stuff to ride in that area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Happy to share some local intel on Marin if you like....cheers.
BTW....nice Rail.
Hello Doug.....The Specialized Eliminator Grid Gravity T7/T9 is surprisingly good. I had low expectations and went with it particularly because I could not find anything in a DH casing nor the size (2.6) that I wanted. I've had it out in muddy sloppy conditions as well as dry and rocky....it...
