Cool. Is that a 350SX or XCF? Looks like a 19 rear so SX I guess.
Sell the KSL like I did. Keep the 130LR. Get a Yeti 160! I get to San Diego often. I have a few friends who started medical companies there. I’m 2-3 hours north.
If you get interested in a 160 reach out to me. I’ll make you a...
@KSL
Like you, I've had a KSL Expert and now this 160e (I also have a SB130LR and a Levo). In my opinion, if you like your KSL, you'll love the 160e. The 160 feels a little heavier and feels a little more robust, but it's still fun and 'poppy' if you take the time to set up the suspension well...
I've ridden the 160e a good deal more since my past post. I'm at about 100 miles and had the chance to take both the Levo Pro and 160e out for a 22 mile ride with about 3000ft of climbing yesterday and thought I'd provide a brief update.
The Yeti chassis and suspension is superb, which was no...
I had a KS Expert and loved it. Range was fine and even better than expected. Motor was a little loud and just could not deal with the power or lack of power when riding with my Levo and Rail buddies. Hope the Yeti works out. I like it and hope the ep8 is better for me. Time will tell.
I hope we get some more traction on this thread...or is there somewhere else that's more active for the Yeti 160e?
I've had a 2021 Rail, 2022 Levo, 2019 Levo, 2022 Kenevo SL and just got this 160e. They've all been great bikes with unique strengths and weaknesses. I really liked the Kenevo SL...
Just finished up the dialing-in and customizing the Levo Pro. Have two rides on it coming off a Rail, Levo SL and Levo Expert before that. I'm loving the S4 Pro so far. Corners well and rides smaller than the wheelbase would indicate. I found my Rail to be more comfortable and easier to ride...
I've experienced the same. My CX4/Rail 9.9AXS has more delay thank it should and more than the Brose when pedaling in fast sections--particularly when you exceed the assist limit. It can be awkward when trying to maintain speed in a 18 - 22mph section.
What's crazy is it seems like mine isn't...
Having had a couple of Levo models, many traditional mountain bikes and my current Rail 9.9AXS, I've chased more squeaks on this Rail than any bike since my 2019 Fuel EX. The bash/skid plate mounts are prone to creaking as are the motor mounts. I've removed bolts, re-torqued, greased...
What happened to you? As I mentioned on another forum, I have a completely stock Trek Rail 9.9 other than a new rear tire and I've gotten the 504 code too. It was a pain and created a dangerous situation for me.
Putting the bike in limp mode is not only very inconvenient, but was dangerous for me. I was many miles from home and it was close to dark. I knew that I had time to get home given my bike should run 17 or 18mph when needed. Unfortunately in limp mode generated by the errant 504 code, my speed...
I was told that version 1.0.3.0 was the version that eliminated this issue. My bike is no 1.0.3.0 and it still generated this error. Is there already another software or is 1.0.3.0 also problematic?
It is difficult to tell. My situation is exactly like yours. The only thing changed on my Trek Rail 9.9 was the back tire. It is a stock/standard bike. The Trek dealer inspected the bike very carefully and could not figure out why the bike generated the 504 code. It is concerning because I do...
I have a new Trek Rail. Mine has the latest software (1.0.3.0) and is a stock/standard bike. I just got the 504 code the other night far away from home. It was a slow ride back and became dark and left me in an unsafe condition on a black bike with dark gear on riding home past dark.
I had a...
