Mine was in for a check up Thursday and the dealer updated to the “latest”’ firmware. I haven’t checked but I’m sure the main purpose is to shut down hacking. If your SpeedBox works now I would not update firmware.

BTW, for the higher-end Rail bikes, I think the 9.8XT is the ideal kit.

I believe Bosch has, so far, been able to defeat the Planet3 and I have a pretty good idea of how they have done it.

Most recently I've done 21 miles and 2550 feet with 55% remaining and 31 miles and 4600 feet on a Rail 9.9 with about 20% remaining using mostly Tour plus a little Eco and eMTB. I find eMTB mode to be too much assist for most riding. It's fun, but I'd like to tune it down a bit to preserve...
