Yep !! I know it sounds odd and bizzarre, but this is an idea I've been having in my mind for a lot.
Just a brief summary.
At the moment of the purchase, I asked the seller to mount on my Level a Tech3 E4 braking system in the place of the stock Sram Code unit (never found a good feeling with...
Well, I had a few opportunities to test it; however, I may (surprisingly) write that everything is fine, so far: no loosening or strange movement of the chainring, that remains firmly in position
By far, I'm totally happy and convinced
Hi everybody
here's my experimentaimed to install a 30t chainring on my heavy spanish panzer
I like to use the least motor support possible; at the same time, my daily routine (I'm out from home 14hrs a day due to my work) doesn't allow me to get trained at all.
The only solution is to...
You're definitely right!
In fact, I'm going to keep the issue observed to detect the primary fact which determines this problem.
As many of you reported, not all Bosch Gen4 suffer this issue; it means that something specific (and not related to the desig itself) does.
It could be the severe...
Theoretically, the nut is isolated by the compressione solicitation and the wearing as well, because there are some shims: the shim incontact with the nut rotates with the nut itslef, while the shim in contact wit hthe crank rotates wit hthe crank itself. In between, the thrust bearing isolated...
Hi guys, sorry for my absence
I come with some (sad) update
Probably due to the very severe use (I'm coming, without any false modesty, pretty faster in enduro trails), the nut has come totally loosen despite of the safety wire lock.
The fault is totally mine because I did not check it for many...
I'm still wondering why E13 does not produce a 30T or 32T chainring
It would be perfect to me (34T is too big for my personal usage of the bike, with the minimum motor assistance I can)
I found out the duo, and sincerely they seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.
But...
My only doubt is if the longer lever can fit the standard Tech3 pump body. In short, may I replace "bolt-on" the standard (shorter) lever with the Duo longer lever in a standard Tech 3 pump?
If so, I probably...
I confirm any word you wrote
Once bleeded, they are supersensistive to any setup, and this is great, absolutely great.
They're perfect for all those situations when you have to slightly modulate the brakes
This is stuff we already know.
My point is the high force I have to use with my finger to...
Hi everybody
does any of you know if such stuff is available on the market, whether from Hope or somebody else?
I do love the superfine precision of Hope brakes but, you know, they are not superpowerful at all, so the effort at the finger is higher than the average.
My last ebike was equipped...
It conferms my thoughts: Bosche engineers made the best move to design the nut left hand, so that the normal direction of the chainring (clockwise) and the related solicitation could naturally tend to tighten the nut
So, engineers Bosch were right, and that's what I wrote in my post
But I also...
Excellent exam.
I totally agree with you.
I was convinced to be much much slower than my mates, while I was struggling to keep their pace on hard and technical descents. I was convinced to be old and wise enough to slow down.
Now, with the Level, I found me younger, faster, much more motivated...
A Montana-Vektor bi-energy FS
Brose-BMZ 504Wh power unit, and specced with medium level components
I tuned it up with 29 wheel on front, Yari upgrade (hydraulic pack, tokens, etc...), new rear damper (to play with geometrical angles), Magura MT7 brakes with Hope and Galfer rotor
It weight...
It is! (y)
Recently I replaced the 350 lbs spring at rear damper with an EXT 300lbs unit, and it got any better. It's more composed and stable at rear.
I think 275lbs would fit even better, but it's not so easy to find.
Well, Dan... in short... I'm in love with it!
The more I ride it, the more I love it.
It gives you tons of confidence. It's fast, SUPERFAST, and makes easy what was hard with my old bike. It's a pure pleasure to ride
I know (thanks for sharing :) )
The Level frame, unfortunately, does not allow to install such components
I also thought about a "2 sides" guide.
This is just the prototype; probably I'll embed your suggestion making a double side chainguide
INTRODUCTION:
Never lost my chain, even in the roughest terrain or DH trail I run, but the delaer who sold me the bike (we're still in contact) refers me that some customers complaints about this issue
That's why I decided to make a 3D printed prototype to be installed in the place of the...
That's not a bad idea
You may use allen bolts caps like the following
Aesthetic may be not a technical issue, but it's an issue at all (for "fancies" like me, at least ? )
