New Rail 5's and cable routing.

I replaced the stock brakes on my Rail 5 without dropping the motor. I used the hose I was removing to guide my new hose through, ends taped together with electrical insulation tape. Slowely fed and pulled a small amount at a time ??.

Who is riding with 2 battery ?

Wow Jeroen, what an incredible reply! Thanks for your time and effort to help me out, total Dude ?. Indeed my number matches to the BBP 281- 500wh vertical. My plan would really be to buy to replace my 500 and sell it on so the upgrade doesn't cost so much. I can't see myself doing anything...

What mud guards are you using, if any?

Fitted my front mud hugger back to front so fills the gap perfectly to stop extra crud getting in. My thinking is more saving the bike from crud than myself.

I just fitted a front mud hugger guard back to front on the rear for exactly that reason. Been out once since fitting and seemed to do a pretty good job.

    Hi from Aberdeenshire

That's funny, we always bypass that last rooty section at Fochabers, continue down the fire road and cross over to the other side to the Ordiequish side and do a...

    Hi from Aberdeenshire

Nice one! I've done pitfichie and Kirkhill a few times. I usually head to the monster trails at Fochabers, Glenlivet trails or make a day of it at Laggan. Can't wait to try there. Just transport a bit more awkward. Could really do with a van. Usually use roof bars and thule 591s. Got a few...

    Hi from Aberdeenshire

Hi folks, I've recently taken the plunge and invested in an E-mtb. Been into bikes for a while but been struggling with the fun side lately and become more of a chore. I went for a Trek Rail 5, I couldn't justify the higher models price tags and think it's got reasonable spec for the price. I...
