    NeBD. Incoming Rise #2

Gents, On the 2 piece linkage, where you have the plastic dust cover that goes on main linkage either side of the frame, do you have the metal on the inside touching bearing , or the outside touching linkage arm? I've been having a lot of issues with the 2 yoke bolts as the drive side one keeps...

Then just take the bike somewhere warm and charge it and try and get it stated.. clearly that will answer the question easier than any other option?

Not many people fancy that chute at 4.00, i know i've certainly not considered it. Was one of my most nervous moments watching my boy ride that... nice job ! The Quarry riding was more impressive though at 7ish, i rode some of that on Sat... well, rode is a loose term.

This could be the most interesting thread of the year, for many reasons. It's either going to be spectacularly good or terribly bad. I'm just not sure. It's growing legs though

Important safety note from Canyon: the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF models may have damage to the battery

How did you request that ? I don't have a dog in this fight but if it makes it easier for people it would be good to explain how they can try for the same thing if they're that way inclined.

    NeBD. Incoming Rise #2

With the boy riding the Fuel yesterday, which it's seems is now his Fuel lol. I was left with the Orbea to ride, not that that's a bad thing, it loves a bit of FoD. It was Shuttcastle and Dowies to start which was ace, then some steeps off Dowies to the road which scared me. I then had the...

    Orbea Rise Cascade Component Link

on the arms, the 3 piece has 2 bolts, underneath, they're the retention system. The 2 piece linkage only has 1 bolt.... It's that simple.

Important safety note from Canyon: the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF models may have damage to the battery

Remember, batteries have to come by boat, so it's possible even if they have the batteries made now, by the time they get them on a boat, get them to EU, packaged and shipped, it would still be the middle of Jan. So it's possible the solution already exists, it's just going to take time.

    Forbidden EMTB

I wish it wasn't :( Reminds me of when motorbikes all became 200+ bhp, however none of the riders could use more than 90 :)

Important safety note from Canyon: the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF models may have damage to the battery

Look at it this way.... If the owners were selling their 22 Spectral, would they expect to get £4000+ for them.... heck no... So it's a win really isn't it.

    Orbea Rise SL Range

100km he means. Can the bike in your scenario expect to do 100km rides on a single charge.

Massively impressed by Canyon with that. Not many would go down that road that's for sure. It's a bloody shame, but if they do that for everyone, then it's hard to argue with.

Comment by 'Weeksy' in article 'A new standard for charging ebikes is coming? A quick interview with Bosch - charge2bike'

Plenty of places in the Alps for example already do have charging location, so do many places in the UK, but at the moment a lot are bike specific (usually Bosch), so in these examples, carrying a small cable would be BRILLIANT to allow me to charge the bike at the top while having a beer. I...
