Surely if the crank is turning then it must be a problem with the cassette? I had this on my new metapower SX (crank, chain and cassette all turned, but no drive), bike shop took the cassette off, cleaned, re-greased and its been fine ever since.

Charged the main battery via the port on the bike, and the switch works! Can’t believe it!!

Yes, small Phillips screws, my cover was off and multi plug to motor disconnected. Charge it up first and I hope it all work ?

They are sending me a new switch to fit and I need to return the old one back to them ?

I'll try charging on the bike and see what happens, although I think I and Commencal are out of options and the switch needs replacing.

Kept the bike on for 4 hours via Bluetooth and nothing! Going to contact Commencal tomorrow and they will have to arrange for it to be fixed.

Are you charging on the bike via the port, or removing the battery and then charging it?Not sure this makes any difference to the switch.... I’ve only charge the battery off the bike. I’ll give it another go tomorrow.

Any joy with yours? I’ve just been out for a ride, and after 40 min the switch still won’t work. Commencal said it could be the cold weather.... and they are in discussions with Shimano as there are others with the same problem.

I hope this is the final part of the fix, why didn't they say this in their first reply, and why isn't this included in some type of first time use FAQ...

From Commencal: How long did the system still ON ? The external button has got a small battery, and this small battery needs to be charged by the main battery. So the system must still ON for at least 30mn. I'll try it tonight, go for a ride and see what happens after 30 min....

I still can’t get mine to switch on normally, only by poking the button on the battery. Going to talk to Commencal tomorrow...
