If it is any consolation, I had the same knocking noise with my 2019 Decoy CF Pro Race. After removing the rear cassette to give it a thorough clean and regrease, the knocking noise stopped.
Some of the cable port plugs surrounding the cables on my Decoy have come out of the port. I have been unsuccessful in effectively reinserting them and are just loosely inserted. Does anyone know how to get these back in?
Not shown in the pic above are my recent upgrades:
- Ergon GA2 Fat grips
- Ergon e-MTB saddle
- XTR Di2 Paddle shifters
- CushCore (rear tire)
- Invisframe
Love this bike.
I'm a heavier rider weighing 220 pounds. In central Texas hill country, I mostly ride rocky, technical trails with a lot of limestone ledges. Due to the challenging terrain and fairly aggressive riding style, I suffered many pinch flats (with dinged rims) and burping prior to running CushCore in...
Thanks Jabberwocky and Gutch. It worked.
Updated my firmware but still get W013 (torque sensor) error occasionally. When I get the error, I turn it off and back on again until it goes away. I have just 75 miles on the motor so far—concerned this is just the start of bigger problems yet to come.
I tried to connect to the bike via eTube app but was not able to find the Bluetooth LE or any reference to Bluetooth on the e7000 display Settings menu. Menu options are not like those shown in How-To videos. Does anyone have insights?
I didn't take many pics at all — to preoccupied with assembling/riding. But here's a before and after.
It's a beast! The first day easily rode 20 miles on intermediate trails to get it dialed in. Still need to fine-tune suspension. Also, there is a pronounced knocking noise coming from the...
It came in one package (basic bike box) that included the toolkit. Everything was seamless except that I had to add additional spacer to take up slack in head set assembly.
Got the bike today!! YT has been spot on with the information they've given. As you've said though you have to be proactive in getting the info.
Also, it is worth noting, for the delivery/communication, that I'm in the US.
Hope you get your bike soon.
I wanted to let anyone who purchased their decoy in the past few weeks with the posted "Available from Oct.2", to know that the delivery of the bikes was delayed for a week. Below is the prompt reply from YT Industries.

Always sound advice to get a feel for a baseline before making adjustments. I took a lot of tinkering before dialing in suspension on my current bike, Yeti sb5.5 X01 build. It also has Fox Factory suspension 140mm rear travel // 160mm front travel, but obviously is a considerably lighter frame...
