Finally got the frame and charger (the last piece of the puzzle to dribble in), built it up over the last two days and went for a quick ride around the block before it got dark tonight. Looking forward to a proper ride to test everything.
Good points Hagbard, I might not overdo the silicone then. The problem is I tend to pamper my Current Yeti SB6 A LOT and wash and clean it after nearly every ride. I might have to learn to be ok with a non-hose washed dirtyish bike.
Waiting on my frame to come, (Motor and electrics have arrived) so I wondering if 'electrical sealant silastic silicone' applied over the electrical connections from new might seal everything watertight. Would be a pain to remove if I ever had to, but I can't imagine having to pull connections...
Thanks Thaeber, that's helpful info. I have a Float X2 shock and Fox 36 Factory for the front already lined up to go on. A Fox 38 would be nice but I'm fairly light so I think the 36 will be fine. I'll have to check if the 36 can run a 170 air shaft, otherwise a 160 will have to do. I'll be...
Hi all, I've ordered my e10 and it will hopefully be down here in Victoria soon.
Quick question: what is the rear suspension like on square edge repeated hits, both big and small. I'll be using a 216x63mm (with offset bushes) for the rear and in mullet form.
There is a heap of really good info...
How was the bb height using such a long shock? I'm about to buy an e10 frame kit and already have a 216x63 shock that would work, but was worried it might be too long. Thanks
I had the same thing happen. I looked everywhere, turned out to embarrassingly be my left foot shoelace plastic end thingy from my 5-10's tapping on the side of the motor plastic guard.
