Maybe it just feels that way if you have spent most of your life riding relatively light clockwork MTBs.
With the extra weight of an ebike (motor, battery and burlier frame to accommodate said hardware) it might just feel that way to you, my experience tho is that the bike is much more 'planted'...
Just put the Race Face one on my bike and all's good after the first couple of rides, don't think you'll have any complaints. Did the whole lot at once, cassette, chain and sprocket, even greased behind the outer seals on the motor.
It had pretty much done 4000km with chain about 3000 of that...
I can't speak for the Shimano over-run but on the Bosch I find that it helps me actually get up steep rocky sections that I would otherwise not even attempt. And I too love this more technical riding tho I will confess, I'm more of a "crash bandicoot" than a trials expert. :ROFLMAO: Still love...
Had a bit of a 'mare and to cut a long story short after "borrowing' my wifes caliper, as I broke a ceramic piston on my rear caliper, I've managed to mangle the O-rings that go either side of the banjo bolt that is on the end of the brake line that then goes into the caliper. I've order some on...
Shimano BR-M9120 N03A Finned Resin, just bought these and they fit. This is the description with them:
Description
Original Shimano N03A resin brake pads with high braking performance for Shimano 4-piston brakes. The resin coverings provide reduced noise when braking in dry and wet conditions...
That's sort of what i was doing with using the old pads between the screwdriver and the pistons, still managed to break one... clumsy or over enthusiastic
Yeah Steve I did undo the screw you mention and used the gravity method where you completely remove the bleed screw on the caliper to flush the new fluid through from the brake lever reservoir using a Shimano "bucket" that screws in to the brake lever and allows the fluid to flow down to the...
Just done exactly the same and after having spent days cleaning disc rotors, scuffing them up with emery paper, cleaning the pads with alcohol only to find eventually that there's brake fluid pissing out of one of the pistons. Looked on line for a seal and piston kit but only from China as...
Mate has just bought a 2024 Sam 6.9 here in Australia, just wondering if anyone out there has mulleted their bike of the same.
I've got the 2023, older framed model, and it had a flip chip where the rear axle goes through the chainstay/rear triangle to compensate when you fit the smaller...
Great to see Danny Hart serving it up to the French boys, his run was epic as he was way down at the top and managed to pull it all back where everyone else was losing time. He still got the fire and absolutely stoked for him, especially as he ended up in front of Amaury which is no mean feat.
Welcome along and enjoy all the info and tips on this website, it's the best.
A good starting point is Youtube some basic suspension from Rockshocks themselves
Set up for your weight, with attention to the sag to start with and then you will have to play with the clickers to see what feels...
