Four Flusher you've probably sorted your rattle but I had the same issue on my 22 Expert. For the first few months the bike was really quiet then around the time the bike shop installed a new dropper cable an annoying rattle started. It drove me mad because I couldn't replicate it by bouncing...
Did you use a matt or gloss. I purchased the Maroon Expert and put 3m gloss on the top tube . It lifted the colour, which I find a bit drab into a nice deep red, so thought I would cover it in a gloss wrap on the remainder. Only thing is, like someone said it could look a bit messy.
I've got a 2019 Levo which has done about 3000 kms. A few months back it started to sound a bit rumbly in the crank bearings when they were spun backwards.
Now the cranks won't spin backwards freely at all, they just stop instantly. I suspect the crank bearings are on their way out.
Has anyone...
I have the same issue on my 2019 Levo. The cranks spin freely backwards but there's a bearing rumble which to me sounds like the bearings are not good. Talked to my LBS and they say it's not covered under the warranty, which doesn't sound right to me.
Has anyone had this problem and tried to...
Yes it was the same shop I purchased it from and to be fair they are normally good. I just called them to pick up the bike and they said it was covered under warranty, so thats good news. It sounds like it was replaced with the version 2 cable. Its possible the version 3 may not be available in...
I've just recently discovered I have power cable issues on my 1 year old S Works Levo as well. The 90 degree plug has split open and the wires are exposed as per many others on this forum. I had the motor stop on me going through a stream with red and blue LEDs flashing. I had to ride about 10...
I Had my local shop fit an Eddy Current to the front of my 19 sworks and the guy that fitted it complained about how hard it was to fit, so I fitted an Ec to the rear today and I can see why he complained. I've been fitting dirt bike tires for years so had plenty of experience changing tires.
I...
I have the 500 and 700 battery and as The Bike Pilot says I can't feel the difference between the two. I think the weight difference being over analysed.
The big difference is knowing you have plenty of range and not having to be conservative with the power mode button. Worth every extra gram.
I'll post a photo of it. I think it's got better clearances than the original.
I only found out Specialized were supplying it through a post I saw on this forum. My dealer (Cycle Science) didn't know about it until they checked with Specialized.
My dealer installed the plastic protector and a new modified linkage at no cost to me.
Have a friend who purchased his bike from iride and they charged him $9.00 for the plastic piece and he had to fit it himself, plus he didn't get the new linkage.
Sorry guys I need to clarify my post.
I don't want to swap a battery with anyone. I have the 700 battery that came with the S Works and purchased a 500 to carry as a spare for when I do long rides. I install the 500 for short rides occasionally and as I said I can't feel the difference.
I swap the 500 and 700 depending on distance I'm riding. I ride a s works and can't tell the difference in the way the bike handles or feels. Only purchased the 500 because I have some big rides planned
Thats a great looking bike ASV. I think the 27.5 with 3" tires suits the bike proportion wise.
The reason I asked the question originally was I have a 2018 Levo with plus size tires and I'm going to buy a 2019 or wait for the 2020 Levo and swap out the wheels to see which I prefer.
The 18 model...
