Thanks. A interesting, I hadn’t come across trailhead before. My bike is all fox. Hoping to get the rear dialled on this weekend. Think it will require a spacer or two so will be a bit of a faff
The battery was running flat after a day and I was replacing the remote battery for every ride, so the unpairing ended up being a secondary issue. All fixed now, sent it back to the distributor and they replace the remote. They also upgraded the seat clamp, though I can’t workout what has...
Hi there, Yeah, when I talked to Troydon he mentioned that it is possible to reposition the battery cradle in the downtube so that you could have the smaller batter at the bottom. You wouldnt then be able to fit the larger battery. It sounded like it wasnt a simple job so you wouldnt be doing it...
Hi All,
Just about to swap my Hope brakes onto the RS180. Before I kick into it I was wondering if anyone had any tips to make it easier running the new brake line through the frame?
Thanks!
Hey there! Saw the shockwiz on your pics of the frame bag. I didnt want to hijack that thread, but wanted to chat about your experiences with the shockwiz. Has it worked well for you? I have only used it on my fork and haven't quite dialed it yet, though its feeling way better than how I had it...
I managed to get it working with microtune and have had no problems since 👍.
Sending my is lev off for a new remote this week and they are going to update the clamps. Looking forward to not having to or as new battery in every ride!!
Just been for a ride with a spacer added to the fork to...
Nice - your review on here tipped me over the edge to order mine! So thanks for that :-). What forks are you running - they look trick AF!
Can't wait to get the bike to Queenstown - but might have to wait till Spring. My next few trips to QT will be all about snowboarding :-)
I've been for more than 1/2 a dozen rides now. Loving the RS! I'm rubbish at setting up suspension so I grabbed a Shockwiz and am using that to get into the ballpark. Seems to be good. Just about finished tuning the fork, I had to wait to get a spacer, have added that now. Will check everything...
Hey! I'm in NZ too (Dunedin). Also Robstyle is in QT i think. If you are around here - super happy for you to come and check out my bike.
Troydons service has been awesome! I would highly reccommend. Also the bike rides great :-)
Thanks for the tip of using a couple of bead bros. I’m still going back and forward on the idea of fitting them. May wait until I change tyres.
Getting the beads unseated on the kryptotals is very very hard!
Could always do 2x 500wh 😀. I had a chat with Troydon about batteries as I was considering getting a 500wh. My most common ride is an hour/1000ft climbing so it would work quite well. Troydon said that you can adjust the cradle for a shorter battery so that the weight stays low. But in the end I...
Sounds like a great build! What are the trail conditions like on your trails? I’m running kryptotal dh ss front and rear. It’s starting to get a wee bit muddy. 😀
Which Cush core did you go for?
Had a play with the microtune again yesterday seem to have got it pretty good. Out for my second ride and had a ton of fun!
My KS Lev circuit keeps unpairing the remote. Will have to work out what is going on. I was having to reach behind me to the button on the top of the seat post to activate...
Yes, it's a Citroen DS23 - 1974
I have the Hayes Dominions on there. I will try them for a while. I have just put Hope Tech4 V4s on my Levo, so I may swap them out.
Went for my first ride yesterday. Just a short one. Really loving the bike! Buying sight unseen is always a bit of a gamble but I...
Got the full build kit. Troydon was super patient and helpful. One really nice surprise was that it came with the new 2025 Grip X2 fork and Float X2 shock.
I just finished the ridewrap and build yesterday. And this morning set up the suspension. Hoping to get our for a ride today or tomorrow...
