    Pic of the Day

Agree with you guys about this but I found a solution thanks to a guy I met in Sutherland in some pretty foul weather. We were moaning about the state of the ground and I mentioned that my Adidas 5 ten boots just don't stand up to Scottish weather . He said I was waisting my money on these...

    Tyre recommendations Scotland

Hi, I've just fitted a pair of eddy currents (29 x 2.60) on my cube. Didn't have any issues fitting them ( did have hans dampf's on before that as they were what the bike came with) I use water / washing up liquid on the tire beads and they slip on no problem at all. Had first ride on them...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Finally got the top tube mount from Magca3d (MagCAD Designs 3D Printed Cycle Mounts & Accessories) designs for the Bosch kiox 300. Very easy to fit ( just check the lead from the remote to the unit is long enough, I needed to buy a 400 mm one for my cube). Rode for 4 hours today and it's a big...

Experiences with navigating using the Flow app

It's not just you , I get exactly the same issue every time I try and use it. It just screams off route all the time and the delay as you say means you miss turns constantly. I don't use it anymore because it's so frustrating!

What did you do to your EBike this week?

Not as exciting as some of the replies but I do love a bargain .picked up this neat little bike tool kit in Lidl, cracking quality and works a treat, £9! Been looking for a small ratchet to put in my waist pack. But refused to pay £30 odd quid for Topeak etc. problem solved!!!

    The online cycle shop

Same shop is also on bay I've seen now gives me a bit more confidence. He's also selling bulk to the trade . In that ad he says batteries are new in original boxes from a EU retailer that went bust. Possible I guess.

    The online cycle shop

Hi all, anyone got any experience with " the online cycle shop". Was scanning the web for a Bosch battery and came across these guys. Price seems too good to be true Vs other retailers so my "scam radar" gor alerted. Checked out is with "shop pay" which is usually legit but just want to make...

    Gravel over hardpack what's best?

Just my two pennies worth but I've run schwalbe Hans dampf front and rear now for 2k miles mostly on gravel over bed rock here in northern Scotland and have to say they grip really well. Not so good in really sloppy mud ( not much is) but for what you describe they hold a line really well on a...

Tightening a Bosch Powertube Battery Rail

Just came across this thread and I've had exactly the same problem on my cube stereo 140 HPC abs model. You did the right thing, only way to get at it is remove the lock barrel . I used loctite 243 anaerobic thread lock on the bolt ( not sure if it's readily available outside the aerospace...
