just checked on the power calculator. You need ca. 15W to compensate additional 5kg of weight plus say 5w for less efficient drivetrain = 20w needs to be compensated to go at the same speed as on an analogue bike. Eco mode would give easily 50-100w which is a massive support :)

yes you do feel it. You can tune it in the app how strong is the assistance.

I normally ride either eco or trail modes but wanted to maximize the ascents in the 2-2.5h window which I had at the time.

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

That's THE question. I have been wondering if I should go for KSL2 from KSL1. I think they will introduce the revision in 2026 since the current package is still a killer.

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

I don't need anything more powerful than Spec 1.1SL motor since it delivers ~290W or 1.2SL ~320W of continous power. What would nice is 400Wh battery (same size, weight due to better cells 18500 vs 21700) + removable battery for bikeparks + maybe a bit faster charging. Other than that KSL is...

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

I assume the weight is pretty much the same since Trek was on stock spec but Spec was on DH tires, tire insert + extender. I would assume Trek would do 200-300m climbs more. In terms of decents, Trek is more poppy and very easy to jump. Maybe it is a characteristic of Float X shock vs .X2 which...

Kenevo SL Official 2022 Kenevo SL (KSL) Megathread!

FYI my comparison between Kenevo SL1 and Slash+. Still cannot believe it: Yesterday I rode Slash+ 9.7. Amazing bike on decents, and would be even better with top-tier front fork and enduro/DH tires. The biggest/only disapointment comes from the motor: - 450m of climbs in turbo mode - flawless...

I would not sleep if I didn't do this comparison immediately. Same conditions, same ascents. On Kenevo SL 1.1 + extender (480wh) I did today 1450m of climbs with 11% battery left. 100% on Turbo i.e. ~290w. I probably would do the same ascents as on Slash but it got dark and Spec was not cutting...

I normally ride Kenevo SL 1.1 which continuously delivers 290W of power on Turbo. Was thinking to switch to Trek for the bigger built-in battery but now have a lot of doubts.

Went down from 100% to 40%. Eventually did another climb and finished with 1550m of climbs going 90% on turbo and 6% battery left

Today I rode Slash+ 9.7. Amazing bike on decents, and would be even better with top-tier front fork and enduro/DH tires. The biggest/only disapointment comes from the motor: - 450m of climbs in turbo mode - flawless, ca. 300W distribution - 5 min decent - during next 200m of climbs power...

What is the weight of your build? Running Kenevo SL1 now and thinking of an upgrade.

1100m I get with Turbo 100% set 100/100 Generally I find these settings work best for me (very fit guy with FTP-380W) - Eco 15/100 - Trail 30/100 - Turbo 100/100 It gives very linear distribution of power from the motor.
