Description I'm not finding the M820 to be the most natural feeling motor & always have my eye on something else so I'm posting my LCE930 up for sale...
Hey all, I usually don't resort to forums for my technical questions, but I'm having trouble finding my answer.
Looks like my motor is speed limited to 16mph. I'm in the US and we are limited to 20mph and I'd like to correct that. Am I correct in thinking I need BESST Tool for that? Or can this...
If you check Lightcarbons page for the frame under the technology tab, there is a leverage ratio chart (assuming its correct) the design is a rising rate, so not linear. Maybe your air shock is just not up to the task? I.E. XC shock on heavy E-bike? Not enough damping for your weight/riding...
I think there are more questions about your set up to answer that question...What sag percentage are you sitting at whilst also being maxed out on tokens and bottoming out?
As far as switching to a coil goes, they do sell progressive coils now, Cane Creek and Springdex off the top of my head.
Probably the wrong space for this, but since its being talked about...I'll add what I did with the spacers to make the motor install MUCH easier. I used a sliver of painters tape, stuck it to the ID of the shouldered spacer with about an equal amount of tape hanging out of it. Then I mounted the...
Looks great! Did you do anything special with cable routing? I attempted to do the foam tubing between battery and underside of top of down tube and they were a super tight fit, eventually removed.
Damn! You could probably also add some heat shrink to the cables/hoses near that location. I intend to pull mine apart to sort some routing issues I wasn't happy with. Good think on the clean up of the upper wedge.
Finally built up/first ride photos. Had a great first ride, motor has some characteristics I need to get used to coming from an EP800 bike. That bike was about 53lbs, so this thing is a lot more manageable. Need to get a final weight still.
I set mine up with a rather short amount of cable coming out of the headset and t measures at about 65". So I'd consider that your minimum length. Sorry about the delay.
