thats also what my lbs does (bend the retaining metal tab) - but add foam under and it makes everything better imo. its definitely a bit more annoying to do though. can also do a bit of both and itll never move (:
alright, so I posted this Nov 18, we are Dec 3 and this is resolved. Fazua was totally fine and nice to deal with. They weren't the fastest to reply, but the folks replying were knowledgeable and understood the issue, asked for pics, etc. verified things and sent me a replacement in the mail...
try to push the battery in with your hands with the frame open (keep it pushed). if that fixes it, get a layer of dense foam, remove the battery connector (unclip it) from the bike, put the foam behind it, clip it back in, then put the battery back in. There's some play over time and the...
I emailed transition actually and they never replied (weird, in the past they replied). Went to LBS and we called transition together. Currently I'm on email with Fazua and they seem responsive so that's cool. I'll update here, I know it's interesting to hear about the process and if it worked...
I finally got the dreaded 2 yellows on my relay. funny enough it doesnt want to work with one battery at all, but works with the other battery, albeit the power is obviously reduced.
My LBS has no clue ("Fazua is asking us for logs and our computer can't run their software") so i ran it myself...
yeah i love the new colors too :) the pic's awesome. im curious how much folks will like the vivid coil. i have a dhx2 with a progressive spring on mine right now and its pretty good, but the stock dhx was just always a bit off for me (good, but not great type of stuff)
i just have a box of orings :) From a quick check it looks like 13mm but it may have expanded a bit. prolly works 12 to 14mm. Still have it still works great.
and yes i taped the frame. tbh now I've also bent the door and its better (i kept the tape too, its nice protection and invisible) -...
the speed is fine. eu bikes are just a tad too slow. the problem usually is that you allow ebikes but you get mortocycles (as in no pedaling electric dirt bikes) because people
a fazua with a tad more power would also be fine. the way it mounts and lower weight are neat.bim not sure many need 100nm of torque, but around 75 would definitely be nice for most
i know its not great in the eu, but in the usa the transition relay is a great 170/170 four bars light ebike with a ride60 and its been on sale for a while now, making the price fairly decent.
note that another advantage of this design is that you can put any dropper in most sizes bikes, so...
i have a relay and its awesome. and yes the anti squat isnt as much as my SC bike but its great especially on an ebike. Ive ridden their other bikes too and honestly its all pretty good - though, indeed, i will lockout the rear on flat steep ground while i wouldnt on the SC, but for everything...
hum had i read this sooner id spy the factory haha. they always take em out and you can see them lol.
specialized is the same, i saw the current model about a week before release another youtuber was demoing it (in northstar that time but they just pick it up at the Santa Cruz specialized...
ive an xo and i can even ride it dry and dirty (oops.. ) with no real problem. ive also seen some transmissions that were a pain to adjust (even redoing the whole setup - as transmission is a bit finicky with the derailleur installation) - im assuming theres some QA issues tbh.
100%. I think of it as a computer mouse with acceleration on vs off. It takes a while to get used to acceleration, same for progression on a shock, and each frame/shock combo differs. Even on coil, your frame still adds progression, but the ramp up is still much less than on air. There's pros...
yep dont buy a bike thats far too big or small for you (M is far too small, L or XL is ok, L is prolly right), it doesnt matter how much of a good deal it is because it will _suck_ to ride. not worth a penny unless you resell it immediately.
