    Family Alps Trip

Looking to take the family to the Alps. Bit of cycling bit of hiking. So looking for somewhere with a train station and ski lifts. Easy blue/green mountain bikes routes not black runs. Or just family cycling stuff. Ideally somewhere a little quieter than the big ones my fellow Brits seem to...

Levo Gen 2 Are Brose & Specialized Fixing Their Motor Problem ?

Do any of the manufacturers have any plans to seriously address water ingress though? Every mechanic I speak to says that every motor is full of water and they are repairing constantly. This is on hire bikes that are not hosed or jet washed as well as customer bikes. There needs to be a...

What kind of distances do you get out of the 500wh?

More agile than a Turbo Levo

Have you ever thought about upgrading the battery? I see they don’t do the 500wh anymore. It’s just so expensive! And not sure how easy it would be to swap mid ride.

More agile than a Turbo Levo

I’m totally ignorant on rear suspension and have always (falsely?) thought it less important than front for anything other than big hits. Your response suggests this is not the case- would I see improvements in handling on corners etc if I changed the rear shock too?

Cheers Tooks. Do you have the 500wh battery in yours? Do you know if the stock wheels would be compatible with the Lyrik Ultimate and what tyres are you running? Cheers!

    Family bike Van

Thanks for this. Is it true that the Peugeot engine is more reliable than the VW (e.g. DPF issues)? Also are there different wheelbase options?

Thanks. Any idea how much the stock wheelset weighs?

Also, does lighter wheels mean carbon or just a better alloy wheelset?

More agile than a Turbo Levo

Thanks. What fork would you recommend if I was looking at making it more nimble rather than a big hit machine?

Is the extra weight in the base model mostly the wheels or is it the fork too?

Turbo Levo SL Alloy - what’s the point?

Turbo Levo SL Alloy - what’s the point?

Intrigued by the Turbo Levo SL alloy. But does the extra weight of the alloy version defeat the purpose of the SL?

That’s annoying it wasn’t mentioned to me at the concept store when I bought it.

More agile than a Turbo Levo

How are the new Lyrics? I’ve read early reviews that said how poor they were over small bumps / trail chatter. Has this now been sorted in the latest batches?

I’ve got the base model - does that have the adjustable head angle set?

More agile than a Turbo Levo

Thanks for replying to the thread. I mean more nimble around corners. I don’t look to get airborne and it’s a beast at climbing up hill. But noticeably less fun on the flat or descents than my analogue bike on the kind of narrow trails I ride. My analogue bike is much better specced in terms of...
