The XL felt small compared to my Levo S5. The power was noticeably different, it felt smooth but also super powerful and quiet, but the motor had virtually no load on it so that may change when I actually get it out in the wild. It was a very short ride.
Happy to be a Guinea pig, it's only 9k for the base model and with 2yrs warranty that should do me. My local dealer had a demo in today, I went for a quick spin around the car park and I'm sold. The spec is on par with my turbo levo and it cost an extra 2k.

Yep I get the same. Whenever I'm constantly in turbo or even trail with sustained hard riding it feels like the motor drops 30-40% power, if I get on a flat or downhill and stop pedalling hard for a little bit day 30-60 seconds the power comes back. I reckon it's most likely thermal...

Reinstalled it but it's exactly like the picture above without the bolt on the left. I did have a bike shop change the chainring about 1500kms ago. Maybe they fucked up and when reinstalling. No idea how but can't really go back there now after such a long time. I'll go to my Specialized...
So I've taken the non drive side off and it's self extracting but the drive side only the bolt comes out and I'm left with this?
What do I need to get the drive side off?
What do you reckon as it's out of warranty, a new motor from spec or getting it rebuilt?
I know I get another 2yrs warranty from spec but what has been the success rate of a rebuild holding out.
Anyone think my motor is on the way out, it's making a strange sound when pedalling at a higher cadence, nothing at low cadence and also makes the sound when the motor is off. I've attached a dodgy video as reference
Anyone know what size the screws are that hold the speed sensor magnet in place. I threaded one trying to take it off and will have to drill it out to replaced the rotor but don't want to until I can get a replacement screw.
Go into your watch and choose add new sensor, make sure bike is switched on, scan for new sensors and it should pick up the power meter etc.
Then set up a profile, mine is called ebike. When choosing data fields, select gears then scroll down to ebike battery. That's it
Using a power wireless power monitor I noticed 20% charge equates to about 1hr charging give or take a few %. Now when I finished my ride if I'm at 50% I just set my wireless plug to switch off after an hour and a half and next time I ride the bikes sitting at 80-85%. It's not as straight...
I run tubeless in front tyre and tannus and a tube in the rear. Because I skimp on tyre quality I also run the tannus in the rear, it provides good protection for cheaper tyres.
Just to revive an old thread I crashed yesterday on the start of a really tame trail. Front wheel washed out and my left elbow and side took the full brunt of the force. At first I thought I was just winded but I've fractured my 5th rib and it's the worst pain I've experienced in my life. I'm...
Anyone find with the new door the battery plug doesn't always engage perfectly. I'm sure mine is seated but on the rough stuff I've had the motor randomly switch off. It's happened a couple of times and only started with the install of the new door.
