    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I am running CRX30PC4313E102004.3. It has power enough, but not smooth at all and overrun is loooong. Difficult to use on technical trails. Might be eroad version. It is available in the M820 firmware thread.

Not an expert on this, but that list is error codes you have had. No. 21 is easy, that is speed sensor fault. No. 09 is bad, that would mean motor phase wire failure. Still I have had 09 also, but only for a second or so when I power up the system some time ago. It still remains in that list...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Well 185mm trunnion shock standard is 47.5-55mm stroke length.

43V battery should be 49,2V fully charged

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I have 170mm fork, working good. Don't know how to increase rear travel, 55mm is maximum travel for 185 trunnion shock.

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

So I have done two tests. For sure I get more use out of the battery, how much it is in actual use is hard to say. Around 20 percent more or less. 48V firmware goes to limp mode at just under 47V, 43V firmware at around 43V. Percentage shown on the display is even more messed up than before...

Still haven't had the time to try, I will update on this later.

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

There seems to be three 43V firmwares available here. Two of them are the same with different file names and the third is a eroad version. I have now tried all of them and they all have very long overrun, like a second at least. With the 48V version I did not have this and they seemed smoother...

    Dengfu E69 Frame - Bafang M820 (lightweight)

Is that a 720Wh batttery? With those dimensions it could be.. This is not the most beautiful frame but it is not as bad as the early version. Still a removable battery and fairly much travel is very tempting.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

There are charts on light carbon homepage. Leverage curve goes from 3.2 to 2.4 in a straight line, so according to that a coil would fit fine. Still my air shock is setup fine, but I do use tokens to have even more progressive, this is why I am hesitating on trying coil. I just like coil so...

    Long travel Bafang M820 build

Seems you are asking for the Dengfu E69. No idea about availability, but it is an interesting frame. https://www.emtbforums.com/threads/dengfu-e69-frame-bafang-m820-lightweight.37256/

    Bafang m820

I definitely need to test this, I am not so interested in more power, since I use trail or sport mode mostly, but I like to use the whole capacity of the battery.

    Bafang m820

This is interesting. Do you know the upper voltage limit for the 43V firmware? The 48V battery is charging to 54.2V if I remember correctly. At what voltage is 20% battery according to bafang display? And how low can you go on the battery?

A new E-gravel carbon frame set fit for Bafang M820

No expert, but please make speedsensor with magnet attached to brake disc instead of spoke. Same goes for all the other frames as well of course.

    CEF50 External battery build

Of course I cannot say exactly but seems correct. Comparing rides is hard with so many variables. I just really dislike the battery percentage shown and battery saving mode starting early. The extender is one way to have a light bike with enough energy normally and then add it when the need is...

    CEF50 External battery build

Good question! I have two main batteries, on ~480Wh and one ~720Wh. Summertime I use the small one. I can ride around 3h and 40km on that one. I use mostly S assistance. Extender is nice when riding to my local hill, 30 minute journey, leave it in my backpack when going up and down the hill and...

    CEF50 External battery build

Cells are rated 12.5A continuous. Highest I have seen on display is 620W, I rarely go over 500W. With 48V system should not be a problem.

    CEF50 External battery build

Off-topic, but I finally built an extender for my LCE930. It is a 13S1P battery with 2170p cells. Connected with a battery balancer between main- and extender battery to motor. I didn’t want to make additional holes in the frame and connecting via charging port seemed too complicated, so I...

I also found having your bike upside-down helps. You can fiddle with the cables without the risk of motor dropping out, before you insert the motor bolts.
