SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

I cannot say if battery fits or not, but as a temporary improvement at least you can flash a 36V firmware for your current setup. That will allow you to take more juice out of the battery. It will also give you somewhat more maximum power. Downside is battery percentge will not be correct, I...

SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

This can not be explained with protecting the batteries. Bafang goes to battery saver mode at 20%, that means about 3,6V on each cell. Minimum voltage for each cell is 2,5V. It is of course not good in any way to go that low. First of all they use a big margin, 20% instead of 5-10%. Second of...

I have a 170 fork, because that is what I had. I would still choose 160 if I get a new one, but 10mm is not a big deal. Reason is geometry, same reason why I like full 29 more then mullet.

OK, now I understand. Yes you can update your firmware with the GO+ app. With the serial number from your motor it will automatically find update for you. You can not choose any other, only update or not update. That will probably solve your problem.

So if I understand correctly your limit is too high. You can only limit the assist speed by a percentage from max with GO+ app. After you need to test where it actually stops assisting and adjust if necessary. Only with BESST tool can you set an exact speed limit.

    Dengfu E69 Frame - Bafang M820 (lightweight)

Maybe you are confusing this with the Yishun E868. It looks similar but has more XC geometry and 130mm rear travel. According to the graph on dengfu site, the E69 has 156mm travel. This also fits with 65mm shock stroke, when leverage ratio is around 2.4 average. It is very linear trough its...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Front center is probably wrong. It should be with 150mm fork but still offset can change and I have seen some strange A2C measurements in geometry charts. On my bike, with 170mm fork and 51mm offset, I get 1280mm wheelbase, 457mm chainstay measured. The relative long wheelbase is a good thing...

But it looks like the chain is touching the derraileur as well. It could also be freehub that is not all the way in.

This looks like cassette is too far out. From that angle I can see maybe 1 mm of the endcap between cassette and frame.

Aggressive Long-Travel Enduro eBike Build: From Concept to Trail-Ready

Oh sorry, I did see that post earlier and still forgot.. Yes that looks good, very progressive. Your battery has 21700 cells? I built a ~500Wh and first opted for 21700 cells but then realised using 18650 cells take about the same amount of space and weight. The benefit being 3P configuration...

Aggressive Long-Travel Enduro eBike Build: From Concept to Trail-Ready

I would also go for the M820, it gives you more design freedom and is plenty strong. You seems to be out of my league with what you are doing, but wouldn’t it be better to start from suspension linkage and from there work out where all the other parts go? You have the shock mount already in...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

If you mean that in Besst tool you are trying to change the speedlimit over 25km/h, you can't. You can download an old version of besst from github and use that, there are no restrictions in the old versions. It will prompt you to update to new version, so don't do that if you want to keep old...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

With mullet and 150mm fork you must have low bottom bracket. With standard 170mm cranks it must be too low. I have two wheelsets, full 29" with trail tires and mullet-set with burly DH tires. I like the full 29" more, even though the slacker geo with mullet setup works well on downhills. Doing...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I am running CRX30PC4313E102004.3. It has power enough, but not smooth at all and overrun is loooong. Difficult to use on technical trails. Might be eroad version. It is available in the M820 firmware thread.

Not an expert on this, but that list is error codes you have had. No. 21 is easy, that is speed sensor fault. No. 09 is bad, that would mean motor phase wire failure. Still I have had 09 also, but only for a second or so when I power up the system some time ago. It still remains in that list...

I have 170mm fork, working good. Don't know how to increase rear travel, 55mm is maximum travel for 185 trunnion shock.
