FWIW, my experience with GX and XO1 has been that the shifting feels very similar between the two. My beef with GX is that the clutch seemed to get weak very quickly and it ended up being so noisy on the trail flapping back and forward. I have had a better run so far with X01.

I’ve had great success with Smoove but it’s generally dry weather riding here in Aus.
That said, Flow_MTB just shared some lube testing results from Zero Friction Cycling and it looks like TruTension Cycle Tungsten all weather is worth a look. Will be giving it a try.
Thank you. Very much like the look of the Fuel Exe. Looks like it’s in the sweet spot for my riding. Still lots more research to do but good options available at present!
I change shock seals and lubricant every 50 hours in line with the fox reco. I do the same with the fork lowers.
Maybe a bit obsessive but I like the process and it gives me a chance to check things like frame & headset bearings etc.
Always runs like new.
Hi everyone.
Just a quick hello. Not currently on an e-bike but close to pulling the trigger!
Currently time is spent between my SB130 and my son’s stumpy evo!
Cheers
Hi there.
We have a stumpy evo that does exactly the same thing. The hanger is straight and the limit screw is fine. The chain is also as short as I’m game to go. It’s baffling. Thinking of switching from X01 drivetrain to XT. Hopefully the firmer clutch might help.
