if tomorrow never comes... 😅 my LBS hinted me the date of the new analog slash. I was misinterpreting it for the Slash-E thats why I wrote tomorrow. The LBS usually only sells Ebikes. Don't know why he got the info about the analog slash and told me there will be a new bike🤷‍♂️ sorry guys

If you ride at full power all the time then current is at max which degrades a battery faster. I also assume they did not design it to perform best (longest) at max current.

You're right. For those of you that are interested here is the podcast The Future of eBike Technology? – TQ Drives Sensor topic starting at 21min. But the whole podcast is very interesting to get to know how much effort the put into any details of the motor to get that natural ride feeling.

Thing is there isnt any usual torque sensor in this motor because there was not enough space left to mount one. I read that they somehow caculate the rider tourque by some patented algorithm. Daniel Thiel also mentioned that in a podcast I listened to lately.

All of you that have issues: What support Level Power do you use on average? I wonder if it relates to how hard or close to its max power the motor is used. Since its a low power motor maybe there is some more wear if used closer to its max power capacity. Engineering is always about trade off...

Because then they have to replace the frame if you damage it by doing what they are recommending. I guess no brand gives you advise on that since the clamps on the bike carrier can easily destroy the delicate carbon frames if applied wrong or with too much force.

buy a Wahoo Elemnt that has ANT+. It can connect to the Motor and track that data

You did the Alps Epic Trail😲? This one is on my bucket list for this summer🤤. Maybe I have to think about an RE or second battery also🤔. On forest roads I don't need lots of support but the alps epic trail is almost all singletrail, right? If it gets more technical some extra watts can help.

👍 have set mine very similar to your settings. Thinking about using this setting for longer tours to maximize range and altitude. Maybe even lower max power for ECO and MID for then like having ECO1 and ECO2 but keeping HIGH at 300W for the short moments where the extra boost power is needed...

I noticed while reading the manual of the TQ that its possible to deactivate the walkmode and instead use the long button press to switch through the different displays by doing the same long press on the remote. Maybe something for you if you dont lile the mode 😉
