Ok now I feel silly. Just took cover off and of course it plugs right in!
And it’s charging. Lol
Thanks for that😭
Not sure what the issue is with the main socket on the bike as I did spend a good while cleaning it
Good idea, already tried that, the charger plug is a different type of pin configuration to the battery connection.
Also as mentioned I already have a spare charger from the wife’s bike
Hi all, loving the E150 still.
Battery not charging unfortunately. Plug charger in, just get some continuous clicking sounds from charger and no flashing bars on the purion. After an extensive search in here. I checked and cleaned the charger socket and battery connection with pipe cleaner and...
Could still have an older motor in it.
Mine is night and day different tbh. Totally quiet in the rattle department. The original one wasn’t.
Makes you wonder. The replacement is clearly different.
Further update on the motor. Unfortunatley the warranty replacement is now goosed after 2000 more miles!
Was riding some seriously wet trails in North Wales at the time, much cursing and walking required.
Anyone else on their 3rd motor? lol
Bosch warranty is superb. But still annoying when things go wrong. Was without my bike for a month, so had to ride my Stumpjumper instead.
Interesting comment about static, could well be a thing, don’t know.
Hi all, general info here.
My bike packed in on a ride, just under 3000 miles trouble free. Traced to a damaged cable, but when Bosch uploaded the files from my bike, they insisted on replacing the motor too. All free.
Interesting bit here is the rattle we all know and hate/ignore is totally...
cool, mines just gone past 3000 miles and then almost immediately decided to stop working 8 miles from the end of a ride. No idea what's wrong with it yet (display won't switch on), but pretty pleased with it still.
Re pedal strikes, best thing I did was go back to my xt spds. Rarely get them now as the pedal is much smaller than any flat pedal. I may swap out to shorter cranks eventually when I’ve got some cash spare.
Mine cane undone a few times, no big deal. Tightened by hand and used a tyre lever to help for the last bit. This was on the trail, tightened up properly at home.
I found the same. Also getting the rebound dialled in perfectly makes a huge difference on the trail.
Anyone suffer with excessive brake dive on the Yari?
Cranks are rubbish so wouldn’t worry too much about those. I’m saving up for some Hope ones as I’ve bent 2 right hand ones already.
Re shock, might be a good idea to get that looked at. Whyte are great with warranties.
Re range, 30 miles pretty good tbh.
I got 39 in the peaks mixed eco/trail...
