    I’d heard that explanation previously, but the rear brake hose is one of the 3 cables/hoses that runs that way. I reckon it would be better running it over the top of the motor.I can see it getting mullered riding over obstacles, but maybe it will be ok. We’ll wait and see. Rode in to work on...

    Ha! Yes the cable routing under the BB area looks like it has been designed by a 12 year old, so gash seems a fitting description?

    Yay collected mine today, one of the first in the country but sadly the forks went back to SRAM for a rebuild before I even got to ride it! First proper ride tomorrow. first impressions- cable runs are gash aren’t they?

    Easily worth the money I reckon. There’s a whole ton of new bikes that are more expensive.

    Well amazingly I still haven’t got mine out the dealer yet, one of the first in the country and I have yet to turn a pedal on it. Forks had to be rebuilt and a few other niggles. I’m actually picking it up on Tuesday?

    Ok so I go to pick it up and there’s a problem with the Lyriks and the brake hose is damaged. Forks are packing down unless the pressure is increased, which then makes them too hard. Haven’t actually taken it out the shop yet. ? I’m sure it’ll get sorted.

    Hi all, I’m a 50 something mtb er for the last 25 years, slowly getting back into riding after too many injuries. I used to race 12/24 hr solo, but those days are long gone! I still ride a 26er and do maybe 5 hours a week on the South Downs. Some days I’m just too damn tired to really enjoy it...
