I find that weird though, I clean the bike every time I get back from a ride, and also lube the chain every time I go out. About the chainring, I was tempted to go for a 36t upfront but then I don't think the chain guide will fit anymore, it is not adjustable in hight, it is fixed.

Thanks guys, I will stick to 11 speed, it will save me some money.

The 12 Speed will give you an extra cog on the top end of the cassette, allowing you to run a large front chainring if you wish.

Hello My rear cassette is nearly coming to an end. My dilemma is, shall I carry on with 11 speed set up, or is it worth upgrading to 12 speed? I know I will have to also change the shifter/derailleur/chain. I just wanted to hear some opinions from you guys that have tried both. Cheers

Did you update the firmware, or just plug in and ready to go? I haven't updated my since I bought it in January 2019.

It is also more expensive than the others, it looks chunky in the handlebar too. I've notice many manufacturers now that don't bother anymore with the e8000 one, they just fit as a stock the e7000 or e6000. I'll be buying my tonight.

Hi all. I have a Shimano steps e8000 and I would like to change the handlebar switch, either the SW- e7000 or the SW- e6000, will it be compatible with the motor and display that I have? At the moment I have the SW-e8000. Has any of you changed it already? Thanks all
