Carbon rims on a 2019 Levo

At first I was undecided as it can make the bike feel a little numb on some trails. However, the upside is being able to run lower pressures to increase grip in corners and the having that extra squish really help when the speeds ramp up and the terrain gets a little wilder. You won’t believe...

Carbon rims on a 2019 Levo

Hard to say as I'm running Cushcore, they feel only a fraction lighter in hand but much more responsive on the trail. The carbon Reserves aren't a light wheelset, particularly on the Chris King hubs.

Carbon rims on a 2019 Levo

I have run a set of Roval carbon rims on the levo, the difference was noticeable (mainly in a straight line) but they cracked when a stone flew up from the front wheel. I'm now running Santa Cruz Reserve rims and the difference between these and the rovals is vast - I've also had no issues. We...

    Snapped carbon crank

For what it's worth mine were replaced under warranty without question. Apparently the first snapped Praxis that Specialized UK had seen.

    Snapped carbon crank

I snapped a carbon Praxis crank arm a few weeks back. Looks to be almost identical to yours.

    You should try the carbon.

    Crank Length

    I wouldn’t bother.

    royal wheels are crap

The hubs are terrible. You find them on all sorts of new bikes but branded to the manufacturer (I can't remember who there made by), I've had them on a Santa Cruz before and they did the same. Just keep tightening the cones until you can get rid of them.

Would the Levo be better with a 31.6mm seat tube?

At 34.9mm the Levo is thicker. I run a 31.6mm one-up components 175mm dropper on mine with a shim.

Fitting dropper post to Turbo Levo FSR - how to get this bit off??

Pretty sure the dropper cabling is meant to route through the downtube, around the motor then up the seattube. The kink in the cable will be too tight if you route through there.

Soft paint on women’s 2019 Turbo FSR

The aluminium rear end on my Comp Carbon is of really poor quality too. There's barely any paint left on the seatstay yoke and near the axle from chipping and the chainstay has worn from rubbing against a soft wheel bag in the car

Annoying rattle coming from the front end of 2019 turbo levo FSR

You shouldn't be able to move the cables through the front end of the frame. They should be held securely using the hex bolt, mine is the same and is driving me mad. It's definitely this.

Annoying rattle coming from the front end of 2019 turbo levo FSR

It's almost certainly the internal cable routing. Mine does this too but I know that I'm missing a bung that holds the cables tight. if you can freely move the cables back and forth through the cable insertion holes, that's your problem. Failing that, take the forks out and have a look at the...

    Turbo levo size guide 2019

I'm 6ft1" and ride a Large. Sizing isn't that important on e-bikes due to the extra stability that comes with the weight. You will just about fit on a Large, I chose a Large because the XL's feel huge and have a taller standover. If I was 6ft3" I'd probably still choose a Large too because I...

Rim and tyre suggestions for Levo?

I can highly recommend the Santa Cruz Reserve rims (mine are on Chris King hubs). They feel superb on the bike and have a lifetime warranty, which when actioned the replacement wheel/rim will be with you within 48hrs anywhere in the world.

Experiences with Santa Cruz Reserve on Levo?

I'm running Reserves on Chris King's on my 19 Comp Carbon. The reserves feel absolutely fantastic and appear to be bomb-proof. I came from carbon Rovals which suffered a catastrophic failure. The DT Swiss hubs should be up for the job, great hubs. Go for the 30’s.

    Getting nervous!!

600 hard off-road winter miles on my 2019 comp carbon and I’ve not suffered a single issue with the electronics.
