For future info, I did some very unscientific research earlier using a tape measure and it appears that there is 280mm of insertion length - just don't take that as official...!
Hi all,
Does anyone happen to know either the seattube max seatpost insertion length of a Large 2019 Carbon or, if a 170+mm dropper will fit? Looking to fit a 175mm transfer seatpost, so I can ride the seat slammed when fully dropped.
TIA
I know Danny personally and he loves BIG bikes, so if you're the same size I'd do the same. For what it's worth he's also extremely talented on a bike! I'm 6ft2" and ride a Large Comp Carbon, I rode an XL Stumpy (very similar numbers, obviously) and it felt massive.
Made a few mods of late. Enve DH bars (run them on each of my bikes), Roval Traverse SL Carbon wheels with cushcore. Next up has to be the rear shock, I’m checking the coil options thread daily.
I love this thing, it’s just so much fun.
I've just ordered a Garmin watch for this very reason, never been a fan of having things mounted on the top of the cockpit. I think the Mission Control app is a little hit and miss with the watches but BLevo appears to work with all the watches.
A shame to hear that. For what it's worth my 2019 Comp Carbon doesn't show any signs of these issues despite only ever being ridden in the worst of conditions. Never found myself needing more speed either, I presume you ride on road too?
Hi all,
Yet another newbies here. First rode and e-bike over a year ago and have been looking to buy one since, but none of them fitted the bill sizing and geo-wise. I’m now however the proud owner of a 2019 levo comp carbon and I’m loving it.
I can’t comment on the S-Works, as I have only ridden both Comp Carbons (owner of 2019, rode 2018 model for a weeks). However, the latest generation feels like a completely different bike. The new bike feels like a properly good mountainbike with a motor, rather than a mountainbike compromised...
