Hi Guys
I live near the South Downs so allot of my winter riding is on clayiy (not sure if that’s a proper word) chalky, slippy and sometimes off camber single track, often with roots and flint thrown in for good measure.
I’m looking to upgrade the 29 Butchers to something more confidence...
Hi Guys.
I’d welcome feedback from any 2019 Levo owners that are running the standard Sektor forks.
Are they any good ?
Are there any key issues / problems with them ?
Do they flex allot or track OK?
Any arm pump issues?
I ride mostly single track on the South Downs and occasionally trail...
Ref the forks and brakes, what sort of riding do you do and do you find they stand up ok then? I’m debating which way to go with a Levo. I prefer the colours of the base model and the option to later upgrade due to the initial cost saving. I’m just concerned whether the brakes and forks will...
Out of interest how do you re-configure a Shimano E8000 motor? Im yet to receive my bike so have no idea? Does re-configuring have any affect on warranty?
Yes, I used to ride allot from Whiteways. Some good trails around there. Do you still ride up that way and have you found some new trails with your extended e'powah?
Well they obviously like your rig then to all invest. Do you think that's its for 2019, or simply the first batch released?
Ref jumping, I just enjoy getting air, usually off roots, lips and other debris whilst riding the trail - it puts a smile on my face. I want my eBike to allow me to the...
That would have been great, but yes i'm down on the South Coast.
My last two bikes have a Santa Cruz Superlight which I built up in 2010, which I actually did a weeks down hilling in the Alpes on (yes I felt it and yes a suffered with terrible arm pump) and the last bike I bought was a YT Capra...
Thanks - just what I wanted to hear and great to know that its been solid and reliable.
Yes, I managed to pick up a 2019, they sold out in like one day! Anyway it should be delivered this week but what I didn't want to do was pull the bike out, put it together and then regret it due to it...
Thanks.
I too like a nimble bike that you can jump and bunny hop when needed, I also love facing straight down a descent and nailing it. I'm wondering whether a Medium may have been a better compromise?
Thanks for the comments so far. My concern was heightened when I read a few other owners seemed to down size and I only have the budget to buy one long term bike and don't want to regret my decision. What are other 5'10 E-Sommet owners riding size wise?
So I've looking to get into the eBike scene for a few months now and have waited to see what the 2019 models will bring. I was lucky enough to snap up a 2019 Vitus E-Sommet VR in Large on Thursday when they first dropped at CRC. After the elation at getting one before they sold out I'm now a...
So i'm joining the revolution and what an exciting time it is in mountain biking.
I received my first mountain bike, a fluo green Muddy Fox Courier Comp in the early 90's and have been riding various rigs ever since. Typically on the South Downs, but I have also enjoyed some down hilling in the...
