Thanks for mentioning the battery above. I've been waiting for a sale on the M2 for the Turbo Levo and looked to find it at half price. Gotta drive 200 miles round trip to get it. But, for $700 in savings I'll gladly suffer through the drive.
I think when you drag the Tune Settings to custom values they are maintained until you change them again. Just don't select any of the pre-configured Tune Settings buttons. Mine have remained where I set them.
Autostart (that actually auto-starts without having to push the Record button) and Smart Ride (or whatever it was called in Mission Control) were functional and useful features for me.
At this point, I just want it to tally up the ride and provide me the details rather than just a message that...
The "Ride queued..." error happened again. This is where it waits forever "to upload once I'm online" even though the phone has a solid 5g connection when I press the "Finish" button at the end of a ride.
I hope my feedback and any info they can access will lead to ridding the app of this...
One aspect of the latest version that is troubling is how, after bringing the app back up on the phone, in order to end a recorded ride it is necessary to first press the "Record" button on the main screen in order to get to the "Finish" button. This is not intuitive and has left me thinking the...
Caveat to gravity bleed, not so good an idea with DOT brake fluid, unless you want to strip the paint from the caliper.
Could also be that I need to convert the Levo to a mineral oil brake set someday... 🤷♂️
I received the replacement and it is worlds better than the low-end OEM RockShox that came on the bike.
One issue I had was in setting sag. I'm at about 265 lbs. with gear and when setting the Spring at 265-290 PSI it always sagged the same 24mm, when I was aiming for 17mm.
After talking to a...
Installed a 2024 Fox Factory Float X2 shock on the Turbo Levo yesterday and went for a ride. It nicely complements the Cane Creek Helm fork installed recently.
So far, the ride is worlds better than before. Very confidence inspiring, and the suspension is now so smooth it has mostly eliminated...
I've had a lifetime battle with broken spokes on the rear wheel of my bikes. Though never corrosion as the cause. I'm just hard on equipment due to my size and riding style.
The solution I have adopted after breaking the OEM spokes was to replace the rear wheel with one from Spinergy. Though...
Didn't find a thread for this, so here we go. Please post questions and answers to problems with the Specialized app here.
I've been using the Specialized App with ever-increasing success. I'm gonna miss a few things about the Mission Control App when it goes away. Neither are perfect.
Most...
Since buying my Turbo Levo, nobody rides with me any more :(...
Except one.
He's the one who let me ride his.
That's all it takes. Just ride at the back of the pack, then, let one of your regular crew sample it in the middle of a tough ride. You'll have to take one for the team and ride their...
The Silky brand are excellent saws. I've had one for a couple of years and haven't destroyed it yet!
I found mine on Amazon, over here in the colonies.
Sounds legit. 👍
I would expect that the DH crowd stays on top of what works for them. Though, I don't think I actually know anybody that races DH, nor anyone that runs DH tires on their AM/Enduro/Trail bike. Granted, any who do should take heed of the manufacturer's recommendations to maximize...
I like the feel of a CushCore up front at low pressures (23 PSI). Traction is improved with less tendency for the tire to roll to the side, or burp. It seems to also provide a little damping effect on trail chatter bumps when riding, My hands could feel that immediately when I installed them...
Thanks!
Mine is a one-person rig. The missus doesn't ride, and didn't want to go with me, but did get her own RV for Glamping with girlfriends.
In the upper right of the photo is installed a fork mount bracket. I was removing the wheel to store it there until I had the epiphany one day that...
I built a Transit conversion so both I and the bike sleep safely inside without either of us being disassembled. ;)
Below is an old photo from early in the build. Eventually installed a jack-knife bed that is easy to unfold with the bike (now Turbo Levo) stored in the "garage."
Here's what...
Yes, you have made it clear that you owned a 2021-2023 model that had the same problems everybody else experienced at that time. Nobody would be pleased with such a situation. Even Fox Service was likely overwhelmed and unable to keep up. That is how it sometimes goes when a complex product has...
Treated the Turbo Levo to:
Cane Creek Helm MkII fork and fender
WTB HTZ-I30 front wheel,
A new 2022 Fox Factory Float X2 shock (immediately sent to Fox for the upgrade swap to a 2024 model).
Specialized Turbo Connect Display.
Found them all at ridiculous sale pricing. Feel like I may be...
