Get your wheel spinning as fast you want. Doesn't matter. Keep your one hand on a pedal. Now use the other hand to pull the chain in opposite direction. Your pedal/cranks will be pulled in opposite direction.
Then you are not explaining yourself correctly. You said "forwards."
Chain growth causes chain to pull your cranks, which essentially forces you to push the pedal/cranks forward to keep your feet level. Freewheel action you are describing doesn't come into play. Unless you decide to manually...
No it doesn’t. I tried it. Have u?
Chain growth basically pulls ur front foot upward (while u r pushing it downward) assuming feet r level. How does the freewheel system compensate for that? Maybe u should go try it before making lot of assumptions.
Grab your chain and pull it opposite direction. You will see that it causes pedals/cranks to rotate. That is what happens when your suspension (as it goes deeper into its travel) causes your chain to pull in opposite direction. Bosch freewheel system doesn’t compensate for this.
Available now for pre-order (supposedly shipping late January). Was tempted to order one. Looking forward to reviews
