I installed ridewrap over the factory tape and its holding up very well. here are tips which are basically the same as the instructions.
Install on a brand new bike. clean each section with alcohol and let dry. use plenty of water with the special soap. use a heat gun to soften the wrap and...
Mine is louder at low rpm and almost silent at a fast pace. I agree its louder slightly overall and it doesnt have the initial punch of my gen1 in turbo but is definitely faster all things considered.
My Gen3 expert is definitely heavier than my Gen 1 comp with the 700 battery and the 38 fork but i don't care,
I don't think weight matters as much on these bikes. On a regular bike ok, you definitely have to pedal a heavier bike harder, but not an ebike.
On an ebike you have to ride harder...

Setup rebound by using the bounce test. Lower seat , press hard and fast on the seat with both hands to compress the rear and then release quickly. Make...
Yes i got that too. disregard, its got to be up to date if you just had the bike updated with turbo studio at you LBS.
Specialized has work to do on the app.
Just took a first short ride on my expert. Front end feels taller and the suspension is butter smooth like a DH bike. Doesn't have the punch in trail or turbo like my gen1 but that's probably the settings. Motor is quiet enough but not quieter than the gen1. The fit and body position are...
I'm 179cm and always a large in bikes. I know guys my size riding mediums and that's all fine and good but I went for an s4 which is longer than my large gen1 by only 1cm. I also took advice from Mike Kaz over at pinkbike who reviewed the gen3.
Wow that's weird. I would take it all apart, clean and inspect everything and put it back together carefully. If you can't get it tight, then you can't ride it, sorry to say.
