Leave the cables and hoses outside the headset. Integrated cable are the worst thing that happened to bikes. Mechanics love it when it comes to change the upper bearing.
EP8 motors are like lottery. You can have a good one that doesn´t give you trouble and you can have problems with them. I have here 2 Orbea Rise with 2 years of riding with EP8 motors on the Shimano dealer for warranty replacement, both with the same symptoms, and the owners have to wait a lot...
Invisiframe on my Wild FS and Rise. They use Xpel PPF, same as used on cars. Very well trimmed to fit, you can order half matte and half gloss, it comes with spare parts for rear wheel wear zones and cable rub zones.
E*thirteen 32t is out of stock. Only avaliable on june. Solution to keep the customer bike running: Shimano CRE80-B spider and TA Specialites E-One chainring 32t. CD-EM800 chainguide on its way because customer want it.
For rims that have a deep groove, one pass of eletrical tape on the spoke holes and then tubeless tape well pressed is enough. Make sure that the tubeless tape sticks well on the rim. You can pass your thumb finger all the way after putting the tape.
Been doing this for a long time on stubborn...
No need.
I´ve swapped the M20 brakes on 2 bikes for 4pot SLX and only needed the parktool guide. I only take out the motor and battery to fit the neoprene protection sleeve because the Rise didn´t come with one inside and the rattle is annoying.
It is really a compatibility problem with e13 carbon crank arms. 2022 Rise will have FC-EM900 on both LTD and Team and e13 alloy on M10 and M20.
The difference between carbon and alloy e13 arms, apart from material, alloy arms have 2 bolts and carbon have only 1 bolt and this is the issue. I...
You can swap the carbon e13 crank arms to this ones: Shimano FC-EM900. Soon you´ll know why this is a good option. ;)
I have already a pair waiting. Mine carbon e13 keep falling off, glued the alloy top cap and when I tried to remove them I strip the 5mm allen hole. It was a patience day with a...

The M10 is enough. XT stuff doesn't give me heart attacks like XTR. I recently bent my rear XTR mech and I was able to put it to work again, but imagine if I can't. 200€+ to the trash. The M10 is enough but my M10 MyO custom one only arrive in november so I took this M-Team to ride now. Maybe in...
Ok. So my advice, if you don't want to change some items, is to go with the M10. The M20 is a good starting point but have some parts that I would change like hubs and brakes.
I have one M20 to deliver to a customer and the first thing that I changed were the brakes to 4pot SLX and in the future...
Be aware that mixed invisiframe for the Rise (gloss/matte) does not match completely the frame paint.
Here is my Rise as an example. Gloss blue on the front and matte on the rear. On the motor area the invisiframe is gloss. I´ve ordered the kit gloss front/matte rear.
Second ride on my Rise I noticed a noisy sound and thought that the motor was defective. Turns out to be the front wheel caps. I have the Rise M-Team with RaceFace Turbine R wheelset and the noise similar to the motor can be solved simply by taking the wheel off, taking the caps off, clean...
