Hey all, Looking for some troubleshooting help.
My m820 keeps cutting out. The entire display will reset and sometimes turn back on, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes the power cuts out midpedal but the display stays on. Its a really weird issue.
I said it has to be a connection issue. So I...
A small. Going with 27.5” wheels. He is 5’ right now and growing like a weed. Probably go to 29” wheels next summer and then pass the bike onto sister with the 27.5 again
Yes you can choose motor voltage (36,43,48) and battery size (360,480,700,720) depending on your motor volts. My first bike I ordered the 36v/720wh and then I just ordered a second for my kid 48v/480wh. had the 48v/700wh option been available when I ordered my first bike I would have gone that...
362 grams for the maven.
310 grams for Dominion A4.
306 grams for the Shimano Saint.
310 grams for TRP DHR EVO.
The dhr evo is the top brake out there IMO. Its incredible. Don't know why anyone would get the maven over current options available.
Don’t most chargers have built in over voltage protection as well? I bought a 36v charger and it doesn’t work at all. But the 54v one for my m600 battery seems to work great 🤷🏽♂️
I just sold the m600 so need a new charger
Also, if I have the 36v battery, and my sons bike thats coming has the 48v battery, can I use the same 54v charger on them both presuming its a 2ah charger, the BMS should stop on the 36v right?
Anybody USA have a link to a good charger for the 36v 720wh battery off amazon or something? Ive been using the one for my E10/m600, but sold that bike and charge went with it. I never got a charger with my CEF50... Also the charge port sucks, rubber seal was gone first ride lol, probably...
The transmission is the greatest thing for ebikes, shift under full load anytime up or down. No more cadence breaking to shift and load the motor again. I run a 9-50 12 speed and I use all the gears.
Ordered up the UDH so I can put on sram transmission. Has anyone done this yet? Pics? Also any reports from people running the 48v 700wh battery setup?
I’m debating on a small or medium. My son is 5 feet(150 centimeters) and growing… I don’t know if I should go medium with 27.5 tires or small with 27.5 and move to 29” as he grows…
Love that color!
From the factory its a $200 upgrade for the more energy dense cells, and a $100 downgrade for the standard firmware on the EP801 (not having to program them). Charge their customers an extra $2000 for the "full power" rise.
Objectively if you could get your hands on the stock EP801 and...
Got the bike wrapped recently… should have done it before I ride it but I was too excited. Anxious to replace the rear triangle with UDH…
Rode with pole violma and its Bosch motor today and 750wh battery. He smoked me everywhere uphill in emtb/auto and I was running sport and sport +
He...

Yeah low cadence big power is hard on those chains!! Ebikes should have a built in chainbreaker tool. hopefully the walk wasnt too long for you.
In the grand scheme of things, batteries are cheap. $500 to build one.
Like everything else on bikes batteries are a wearable/changeable component to me that wears out over time. Its far more important to me to get the distance/vert assistance I need during a ride than to get an extra...

Yes, my motor is just as loud. every time I jump back on the m600 with silent gear I realize just how loud the m820 is. I dont think thats go pro amplifying the noise, its just that loud.
Was that a 60-65 RPM on your cadence? Interesting to me as I find that motor seems to do...
