i'v honestly not got a clue re all the numbers, Alls i know is after -5 install the bike felt high and lost grip at speed in the front, This led me to check the HA, it measured 61,62 with -5 cup, 63,64 without. But Forget all the Numbers the Main thing is The bike Steers well. Holds a line when...
it's 12mm for -5, could be 10mm for +5 as your raising the bike slightly when it moves forward, i set up 25% rider sag both ends & For me on fast, flat, mild steep it noticibly lost front end grip, even bike park steep it wasn't as planted. BUT... This is just my experience... i'm not one for...
Yes there external, im talking from experience, not guessing, i measured both, im not normally a measurer but after riding and noticing id lost front grip with the cup installed, i could also feel it sitting higher. excuse the mess... i got 61,62 with the cup, 63,64 without, so its more like 2 deg.
Bare in mind The -5 reach adjust slackens the bike, It lifts front 15mm ish, slackens to 61,62. Which imo is too slack for the full travel crestline, For me The front got washy, im a short ass 5.8 hents been told go -5, but im a top heavy bloke that likes to ride beyond my skill set every minute...
Yes mine connects too, I know some were placing in the centre so over the join, but i didnt have room so put mine up against the centre on the right hand side, directly above the crank
Ahhh.. i'v been posting my experience on "derestricting bosch smart system" yes i also cant get it to connect, it finds it but then wont go past the connecting page. it worked up n down the street but iv not had time to take up moun tain yet.
mine was 84.6 but i run 29 rear, i was getting the 523003 error code like this "after the speedbox install" so i adjusted as high as it would go and dont get a code, Cant remember what a 29 inch worked out to be but the crestline screen wouldent go that high, so i just maxed it and seems ok now...
Got my Speed box fitted into the crestline today, motor out/in 5 times... You must change the wheel size to pretty close or youll get the 523003 speed sensor code. Cannot get the ap to work though, just get connecting...
