    Shimano Deore XT LINKGLIDE

Had the first few rides on the LinkGlide XT 10 speed (see my previous messages about components). The shifting is way less harsh then the previous SRAM GX Eagle setup I had. I was so used to lower my leg torque when shifting with that setup, but with LinkGlide you can shift under load without it...

my first bike 2022 FocusSAM 6.9

Nice, I have the 6.8 version set up as a mullet. What specific chainring did you get? And why only eco and tour? I looove the emtb mode, it feels so natural. Like a Jedi mind trick.

    Shimano Deore XT LINKGLIDE

Check out my post above. Only difference between the Deore and XT feel is in the shifter. You can use the XT 11 speed shifter with a 10 speed Deore derailleur/cassette setup. You can also use the XT derailleur, but that won't make any noticeable difference. People have even tested the 11-48...

    Shimano Deore XT LINKGLIDE

Just installed a LinkGlide XT/Deor 10 speed set on my bike (Focus Sam2). I had GX and NX eagle before. The wear cost is in the cassette and the chain. I used the The NX cassette, PG-1230, and XO1 chain (better longevity). Cost per one cassette change (not accounting for longevity): NX Eagle...

---> My trick to always have a charged E-bike, lights, GPS, etc. <---

I use a simpler version. I have a Bosch Cx Gen 4, non smart, system.. I have a chip, which also let's me see the actual battery percentage on the purion display. Which is something Bosch should have but in the system themselves. Anyway, I calculated that it takes 22 minutes per 10% charge. When...

Orbea Rise Battery reporting as 540wh in app

It's a 540, which is a nice upgrade if you ask me. Try charging it to 80% to extend the life of the battery. The 360 = 1.95kg The 540 = 2.7kg

    Voima Sizing Questions/Views/Opinions

I'm 188cm and prefer a ride with 480-510mm reach. But reach is just a factor when out of the saddle. Top tube is the reach when you seated. My current bike is ~495mm reach and 670mm top tube. I do slam the seat forward. I also prefer a 40mm stem length. When riding more flat trails, a short top...

    2023 Stilus E-Big Mountain

Just found a 2023 Rockrider brochure online Rockrider Catalogue Ss2023 English Version (calameo.com) and what caught my eye, among other things (search D3O), was the Stilus E-Big Mountain. @Rob Rides EMTB might find this also interesting ;)

Levo Gen 2 Which wheelset, Hunt or DT Swiss?

Same, I was also disappointed. But still suits the bike better than the default red (which is also way different than the above picture).

Yes, true, I would have liked a more bright gold. Hopefully Slick Graphics will created one for us soon ;)

Levo Gen 2 Which wheelset, Hunt or DT Swiss?

+1 for fitwheels.eu I ordered the wrong front hub, and They relaced it with the correct hub free of charge (excl. shipping). Whole experience, from communication to shipping and the wheels themselves are awesome. On request I even got the gold FR 541 stickers included. Maybe you can get them...

What rear tire should i put in my focus sam2?

I've had the Big Betty 27.5x2.8 SuperTrail which I didn't like. It was too vague. A 2.6 SuperGravity would have been a better option. Thats what I have now with the Eddy Current. Really good traction and you turn the tyre when it's warn from braking. Next up will be a Kryptotal Re 27.5x2.6...

Wow, I did now know this. I always have the display to show the mode I'm in. Being able to actually see the percentage is awesome.

    Michelin E-Wild separated bead

Upon inspection my bead also was beginning to look like this. Have since switched to Schwalbe Eddy Current Rear. Such a shame, really loved the tyre.

e-MTB parts YOU want to forget

Yeah, definitely not a winter/mud tyre. They work best on hard pack and loose over hard.

e-MTB parts YOU want to forget

Been running a Eddy Current Rear 27.5 x 2.60 Super Gravity Soft and absolutely love them. Not the grippiest tyre ever, but best balance between grips and wear. Also very predictable. And you can reverse them, because the thread is symmetrical. Grippiest I've had where the E-Wild rear, but that...
