Anyone done this on an E180?. I recently bought a Transition Patrol (mullet format) and find it very good for steep tight trails and really notice a difference when going into big drops, it also seems a lot better at long fast downhill sections and there is not much noticable negative difference...
Yes it's upside down as I don't like the light being interfered with the bouncing hoses, it's just a pet hate of mine. It makes no difference to the riding I do and i get more adjustment should I need it.
I have it setup on the correct settings for the Bosch motor too.
Hi,
Thought I'd share this as I'm super impressed with this light.
Fitted an exposure Flex 3300lm light to my E180. The installation was very easy, just run the cable to the motor and plug it in to the front light port. I opted to install a waterproof plug so I can remove the light easier...
Because then the display would then be in the firing line when i crash and i don't fancy it pounding into my chest if i go over the bars, the display is £??? to replace the controller is £50.
I fitted the Kiox myself. Easy 1hr job with no reprogramming involved. The mount i use is from ebike prints and works very well. I have had a big crash where i broke the trigger switch but it was an easy fix, had i been using the purion it would have been destroyed i'm sure.
I love the extra...
So I have a 625kwh bosch equipped Whyte E180 and have spied some brand new 500kwh battery's for sale at a very good price.
Question is are these compatible with my bike?.
I reckon there will be a physical difference in length but not sure about software issues etc?.
So far my list is:
Kiox - If your in 2 minds just do it, great piece of kit.
Rockguardz Frame protector - Saved the frame a few times already!.
Invisiframe - Priceless in my opinion.
Here is my new E180, 2 small rides in so far but loving it. Managed to scrape the bottom of the frame below the motor striking out so i've fitted a Rockguardz carbon guard.
Looking to upgrade the Purion for a Kiox, anyone attempted this?.
Just joined up, I'm over in Donside Aberdeenshire. Some excellent stuff over here with Pitfichie,Bennachie,Millstone and Corrennie. MAybe bump into some of you someday.
I have a 180 and was wondering the same thing. I managed to badly score the frame at the bottom of motor area and would like to fit a bash guard also if thats possible, so far google has failed to produce any solutions for me.
