I’m also 175cm but went with Medium for the Rail. Same with the Fuel EXe, and also the Slash I bought last year. It’s lame that on each they spec a 150mm dropper when I can easily fit a 170/180.
Magura caliper adaptor part numbers for 220mm rotor install on Rail frame with Zeb fork:
• QM 45 rear
• QM 40 front
Trek states 203mm is MAX for the Rail frame.
The max insertion depth for the Medium frame is 230mm.
I have a OneUp post with 180mm drop installed in my Medium carbon Gen 4 (same frame as the Gen 3). The height for the center of the saddle rails from the BB spindle center is set at 680mm without issue.
While I wait patiently (nervously) for my Rail 9.8 XT Gen 4 to ship today, I was provided this info that helped put me slightly at ease about the new bike:
“Solution: New software with a fix is currently being developed and tested. Target Date for this new release is March 28, 2023

If you haven't confirmed already...
The frame is 180mm direct mount so the Q45 is the "correct" adaptor for adding a 220mm rotor (BTW - Trek states the rear rotor max is 203mm). The original screws supplied with the Shimano adaptor for 203mm are too long for what you're attempting to make work...

I bought 2 Rail 9.7 from the same model year, with the brake and tire spec different when each were delivered. It’s tough to say what you’re going to get until it arrives. I see a similar statement on many sites but I pulled this direct from Trek:
There is a seal but the stock bearing is not totally sealed.
In the pic below, the individual balls are just slightly visible.
This is why I suggest packing grease into the ID of each bearing. Or, replace the bearings with something like Cane Creek Hellbender.
If you haven't figured it out already, you'll also need the specific end cap.

If you're looking to just service the pawls & springs, I suggest leaving the cassette on the freehub body. The largest cog provides a much better finger hold than the bare freehub body.
Spoiler alert: the frames are made in Asia
It's a longer trip to the US so the stock tends to hit EU first; not sure why the information launch timing is different.
If you still need the info, provide more details regarding the specific wheel and you might receive a useful answer. The recent Line series of front wheels use 18307 bearings (2 of them) with the dimensions being 30x18x7mm.
Its the 9.8 and 9.9 that will have an update, and it’s just to the front triangle; same rear as 2021. Below them will be carry forward but with color and component specification changes.
