hi mate ,I have the same problem as you …..I can’t ride in varifocal glasses so i wear contacts ,with a distance prescription ….you don’t need to see close up …it works for me

Dont be put off with the mugging it’s a rare occurrence up at Cannock ..but yes it does happen unfortunately…my only advice would be to carry a very study bike pump that you can use as a club and knock fuck out of them if possible 👍
