OK. So I took the bike out on the carrier today. I did a lot more wiggling and moving around of the rack as i put it on. I did it up as tight as I could by hand, drove to get petrol (about 4 slow corners) and the rack was moved easily. Used my foot to tighten it some more and it was improved...

Thanks for sharing, it’s good that they came back. May take away from this is: 1: they are saying that the rack is being put on the tow ball either wrong or not ideally. I’m pretty sure it is not but at the weekend I will double check and see how I go. 2: the arm... they admit it is wrong...

Thanks for the feedback. I will double check at the weekend when I next use it. I’m half sure it is going on properly because there is a satisfying drop when the silver clamp bits slip on. I’ll try give it a bit of a wiggle next time and feed back but I have to say that on the several occasions...

Good idea. I for one would do more research and see if it’s worth forming out the extra for another brand, but, maybe this is just what you get at this price point?
