Hey all. So I’ve got my Scorpion 2 rack, lovely bit of kit..... but..... I can rotate it from side to side on the tow ball. My old Thule literally drops on, no rotational movement.
move checked the depth and I can only see the little feet of the clamp, none of the body. I’ve tried it with the...
So I’ve just been out for the first sloppy ride. I’ve hosed it down gently and avoided the motor area as much as possible. Is that about the best you can do? Do you need to be in all the cracks around the motor with a little brush to dry it out or just let it drip dry?
Cheers. Have to say, there are a couple of things I know. The washers I thought were for between the pedals and cranks but they aren’t so no not sure what they are.... they probably did forget to fit them!
Just realised I didn’t update the thread. The issue was that I didn’t press the lever whilst moving the post. Had I don’t that all would have been fine.
Hi all
When do people charge their batteries? After every ride, when they are just about empty, half way? Etc? Is there a “best practice” way to do it?
Cheers.
Nope, rigid as, unless you think I’m doing something different from putting a tow ball mount carrier onto a tow ball? They’ve been around for decades, nothing new but just not as good as the ones where you have the square pipe that inserts to a mounting point.
It’s pretty secure to be fair. Not sure why they don’t just use a hitch universally but it seems to work. I have noticed that the higher weight carriers require a hitch though.
Looking at the Hornet vs the Scorpion, the only tangible difference seems to be foldable vs not. Is that about it? There's a bit of a price jump from one to the other so considering both.
