I have two Novatec XDS642SB rear hubs, 142x12 and 148x12. The 142mm has 84 Engagement points with the 42 tooth ratchet -probably by this: "This hub uses the X4 freehub which has 6 asymmetric pawls (3×2) which gives a 4.25-degree Angle of Engagement and 84 Points of Engagement" But the 148x12 is...

165mm Crank length through the Bosch Dive unit option !?

Thanks, I figured out why I felt something was not as before ... It wasn't! The shop update the software to the standard "Tour = Toure +" Instade off "Tour =eMTB lite" This is a "TREK specific" option - But it can apply to any Bosch Gen4 (If you can use a Trek dealer to do so...) This is much...

165mm Crank length through the Bosch Dive unit option !?

You are correct, Mikerb, But I'm on the Trek rail, which comes equipped with 170mm. The motor adds torque by sensing the rider torque on the crank (as far as I know, anyway) So, the 165mm rider input is lower than 170mm, and the Software adds less supporting power...

Hmmm... 400k in 8 weeks is a good score for a "weekend warier". But unfortunately, in the current bike industry, even buying a new one is not a good option. I asked my LBS (TREK dealer) to sniff around for someone who is looking to swap from Large to Medium. Until then, I'll live with it...
