I've been thinking of using scottoil from that well known motorcycle chain oiler... Works unbelievably well on motorbikes reducing wear to virtually zero... So oil must be fine on mtb.
Hey has anyone tryed using scottoil for there chains.... I know its famous for motorcycles and have had fantastic use on my bikes but never tryed on emtb., I'm not talking about the oiler itself just the oil.

Im using slime 2in 1 sealent... Little puncture i picted up couple of weeks ago.... 6mm Allen key.... Pulled out and sealent did its job... Didnt need to top air up..... 😁
There is a large market there for any motor manufacturer that can make a retrofit kit for there motor that works with spesh batteries and frames.
For me reliable motors is more important than the perfect geometry... If Toyota ever make an ebike I'm first in the que
Shame its not always live, was hoping to run light of it without the activation...... I know this would then throw out the estimated range but dont rely on that anyway preferring to use battery percentage.
I may still have them activated and run the 3w settings on the software and this should...
Has anyone tested to see if lightning power socket is live on there bosch motor, totally understand that bosch insist you need this activated to comply with german laws on 2hr reserve lightning battery power but wondered if it was live without activating the legal red tape bit.

2900 miles now on second chain... No jumping ect... Always lubed before every ride with wet oil on first chain... Trying dry oil on second chain but unsure if it will last the distance the first did.
Didn't they youst to have grease nipples on old cars, you greased them up it pushes out the old grease and dirt and reseals the bearings... Couldnt this be used on ebike motors
