I don't believe there are any boot mounted carriers which are rated to carry even 1 eBike. That doesn't necessarily mean they are unsafe to use, but you'd be using the product outside of the manufacturers guidelines. So no guarantee, and you might even affect your car insurance in the event of an...
Looks like you have the same issue as here...

Edit. Oh, you're the same person, that's why!
Rear mech looks fine to me.
What's slightly odd is that if you go to the Focus website it shows the 6.9 with a bolt-on chainring, yet yours is direct mount? I think that one you have on there is a mistake. I'd be wanting it replaced FOC personally.

And yes, after...
Looks like the red knurled bit on the back disengages the valve so I'm guessing process would be...
Unscrew red bit
Screw pump onto shock
Screw in red bit
Pump
Unscrew red bit
Unscrew pump from shock
I assume that's what you're doing and the pump is just crap but doesn't hurt to check! :D
I'm not sure why you want to be flat-footed with the seat (dropped) down? I would normally think as long as you have a bit of clearance between yourself and the top-tube when standing flat-foot, astride the bike, that's the more important thing. For just stopping while seated normally just being...
If whoever is working on your bike doesn't know where the wiring is supposed to be routed, they are not the right person to be working on your bike. If you fiddle about too much yourself, any hope of claiming on warranty/refund will disappear.
You need to get this bike to a proper Giant store...
Nah, I don't have a Stilus, but a quick dip into the 30+ page thread on the bike will show you people are desperate to get their hands on one.
I'm glad you're happy with your E-ST, just not sure of the quality of the advice you were given, components wear out and break on all bikes.. Most people...
This thread was a year old before your post.
Afraid I mostly disagree with your post. On an (already) heavy ebike I'll take any extra suspension and damping I can get and I don't need to worry about cheaper parts being heavier (so much), I don't want a 20kg+ bike rattling itself to bits over...
I honestly cannot understand how a company the size of Giant can drop the ball this hard. There are software devs all over the flipping globe who could bang out a better app than the current one in a matter of days. Surely every sales manager, product manager, and engineering manager with any...
I'm just hoping the place you bought it from is the same place that mangled your wiring. If not, you may have trouble getting that refund.
If you just had the water ingress problem, it's fairly common and people will have some help and advice. But the biggest problem with that bike is not what...
So your plan is... ?
Sorry, not meaning to be rude dude, but if your retailer is the one who has buggered all this up so far and your not going to press Giant directly on the problems... I'm struggling to see where you go from there? Sell the bike?
I always ride with a hydro pack which has room to carry all the stuff you mentioned and a snack bar or two. Even with nearly 2 litres of water I barely even notice it's there.
You should probably start carrying a spare inner tube as well

Something a bit amiss here. The troubles of water ingress on the Trance E are fairly well reported, but most of your issues seem to be down to dealing with a really shitty store. Is it an actual Giant store or a Giant dealer or just a lbs stocking Giant bikes?
I can't believe any official Giant...
