Bosch Flow App - News & Updates

I'm completly unware of this things...but did I read correctly? You need to turn it on, in travel mode, just to commute by car to the trail? What happens if I remove the battery?

Bosch Flow App - News & Updates

Agree. Flow+ could add more features besides ride stat, because ultimatly, Bosch is using OUR data to work on their products... I haven't activated Flow+, since I never bother with tracking, and all the alarm issues I can have (forget maintenance mode while at the bike shop/phone...

That would be very interesting test! Personally, I think it's a huge drag once motor is disconected. If possible, compare between other engines. Yes, the torque seems too much on paper compared to reality

Well, I undetstand people think SL bikes with a fit rider can come alone on a group of full power. My though about that, is that is true on some groups, not so, if the group is fit. We pass (carefully) group of ebikers that climb relaxed (slow?), but no way I would ride like that. Ebike is to...

@knut nes One thing I've forgotten to include on previous posts: Could you verify the needed Watts, to turn the pedals (drag) with the motor shutdown? Meaning, at different speeds, with the motor shut down, are there any differences between SX and CX motor? To make things ± even, equal tires...

How many SL ebikes do you spot on E-EDR? Ebikes are no where close to moto, where you can question the use of a 450 vs 250/300 (4 stroke)

"The SX didn't win in any of our tests., but it’s not far behind on flat terrain." LOL! Sorry IF I wasn't more direct! Feel/Performance is Mountains apart, with the same rider, independently, what testers want to shove. As I wrote before, is a BIAS test, to which leads riders think it's only...

It's a bias test (tendency for SX motor shine). Full power ebikes, are heavier due to blurier tires, brakes and suspension (travel & rigidity). Testing these kind of bikes against a SL ebike on mellow, soft trails, will not show the reality on trails that are harder and requires more skill to...

There are tools from Bosch. Doing this job, I noticed my left arm ain't slim enough, and I'm right hander. If you're veternarian and used to have cows, this will be a peace of cake! Ehehehehhe Happy rides, too all!

Just side note: I do like to discuss, and present arguments in a postive way, and I'm not convincing anyone on this or that, because I really don't gain or lose anything. It's my opinion, that can be agreed/disagreed on. I don't hold the truth, nor want to hold! Arguments on the SL, are valid...

Just to understand, a SL-eBike rides like a Bike, but there is a difference between 4 and 5kg? And a Full Power ebikes are starting to show around 21/22. My question is: if 4 or 5 extra kgs doesn't make much difference, why 6 or 7 makes, with all the advantages regarding: Power/torque Range

Options are always better than no options People value things differently. Personally I embrace ebikes has being ebikes, and not bikes with assistance, or moto with pedal. Whine? Sure, but what's the problem? The only thing that doesn't appeal on this bikes, is like I wrote above: - limited...

Manufacturers try to build an ebike close/similar to a BIKE, but that is close to impossible. These bikes (light/mid weight mid power bikes), are for those that think ebikes are bikes, and their not! It's a different category. Having pedals, doesn't make them a bike Having motor, doesn't make...

My....oh my! People should breath more, and think twice before commit on such things. They don't know who they are knocking out, and it can get sideways....... We've got Trailrunners, but when they use DH tracks (made by MTBers btw...), there is some good sense and they move to the side...

    STRIVE :ON POWER CUTOUTS

Read the 1st post. Remove, inspect and perform the threadlock mod to all bolts on the upper bracket. While you're there, check wiring for chanfing/tear/other issues, and clean&polish everything as described. Once this is performed, and while using the new latch, you shouldn't have more problems.
