sounds ridiculous but I bought some wrangler brand pants at Target. They look and feel like the same material as normal riding pants. They are slim cut but still fit my knee pads underneath and they are super durable. Highly recommend.
I’ve been thinking of switching out my air shock to a cool shock too. I have the same air shock right now. I feel like since it’s going on an ebike the weight really doesn’t matter that much
I have not personally ridden a Haibike but I’ve ridden a few Levo’s and Kenevos. The specialized is a great bike but I know multiple people that have had to replace more than one motor on their bikes. They were all covered by specialized but it is still an issue to be aware of.
I have a Reign with the 625wh and just did 21 miles (about 35km) with 3,493 feet of elevation in muddy / soft and rocky conditions. Ram the battery out in the last two miles. Normally I can do 25 miles (40km) in dry conditions and still have two battery bars remaining.
I finally was tired enough of the overgrown trails around me that I decided to get some hand guards. I found these from SendHit and they seems pretty good so far. They came from Europe so it took like two weeks to get in but they were worth the wait.
I rode multiple different brands with different motors.
I tried Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Trek, Specialized, Intense, Scott, Fantik, Yamaha and Giant.
I tried Bosch, Brose, Shimano and Yamaha motors.

1. I wanted either a Yamaha or Bosch motor.
2. I wanted more than 150...
Welcome! How is the riding around the Bozeman area? I’m gonna be doing a road trip that way towards summertime and was thinking of taking my bike along with me.
I have a ‘22 Giant Reign with a Zeb. My dads bike is a Scott Genius with a Fox 36. Now I know there is much more in play than just a fork difference such as frame manufacture, frame geo, head angle, mullet Vs 29er etc etc.
But one thing I notice is that on fast trails like a fire road with...
After a week of rain In Southern California which is super rare it was perfect dirt for a few days. Glad to get a ride in on my Reign before the next week long storm hits.
I have a ‘22 Giant Reign E+2 with the SyncDrive Pro from Yamaha. The motor is great. I really like the power delivery and the feel of the power. In the higher assist modes if you’re stopped with your foot in the pedal you feel the motor kind of surging slightly but that’s only when your foot is...
I’ve ridden all three wheel set ups. My personal bike right now is a mullet. I really like it for the trails near me. My dad has a Scott Genius 29er and it struggles a bit on tight switchbacks, but it is super stable on faster choppy terrain. I have a Giant Reign mullet set up and I feel like it...
