As im a newbie, i guess it would help rolling over obstacles? small rock? with bigger size wheel

as i see some new EMTB nowdays comes with 27.5 rear and 29 front. i guess if i can replace mine with 29x2.6? @StevenM thanks in advance for helping to check if can fit in the 29 on the current fork.

Any guys here tested with front 29er on trance E+ with rear still maintaining 27.5? appreciate feedback if any..
